Falling In Love Wasn't Part Of The Plan

Chapter 1

Luis watched as Sheridan sat in her bed staring out the window at the falling leaves. He knew it was hard for her to be in an air cast. Just a month ago he had saved her, yet again, from certain destruction.

~Flashback~

"Sheridan." Luis yelled. He couldn't let her fall.

"Luis." Sheridan screamed. He cared about her too much to let anything happen to her. He watched as she was shoved out of the fifth story window. He ran towards her trying to judge where she'd land.

~End Flashback~

Sheridan sighed as she thought about why she was in the cast.

~Flashback~

Sheridan couldn't believe that she'd done it again. Once again she had disobeyed Luis and snuck out of the cottage only to find herself in danger again. While she had been running from the cottage she had been grabbed from behind and taken to a car. She was blindfolded, gagged and tied then shoved into the car. She tried to untie her hands but she couldn't. She remembered being pulled from the car and being forced to walk up stairs. The stairs seemed to go on forever. Finally, the hands threw her into a chair and untied, unblindfolded and ungagged her. She looked around at her surroundings and found herself to be in a dimly lit room. She looked over at the man whose hands had treated her so badly.

"Who are you?" She asked him.

"None of your business." He replied. "All you need to know is that you will be dead in a couple of minutes."

"No." Sheridan screamed as she rose from her chair. She glanced over at the door that the man had forgotten to close and made a run for it.

"Hey." The man yelled.

As she reached the stairs she could hear the man running after her. She made it down the first flight of stairs before she was roughly pushed down the next flight. She was horrified as she felt her legs fly out from underneath her. She felt extreme pain as she fell, rolling down the stairs. She felt something in her leg crack as she smashed down on the landing.

"Oh God." She moaned. "Please let Luis know I'm gone. Please let him find me. I'm so sorry I left." She felt herself being lifted from the floor. She was being shoved towards the window.

"Time to die." The man said through clenched teeth.

"No." Sheridan yelled as she found herself hanging halfway out the window. She heard Luis call her name. "Luis." Sheridan screamed as she was shoved out the window. She remembered landing in Luis's arms just before she slipped into unconsciousness. When she woke up she was in the hospital with Luis by her side.

~End Flashback~

Luis wanted to walk over to her and gather her into his arms. He wanted to hold her and to love her, but he knew he wouldn't. He couldn't let her know how he really felt about her. Plus, he was her bodyguard.

'Just one more week.' Sheridan thought as she looked at her cast in disgust.

"One more week until this stupid thing comes off." She muttered.

"What, you don't like it?" Luis laughed. Sheridan turned around and saw Luis smiling at her from her bedroom door.

"Ha, ha funny Officer." Sheridan smiled back. She looked at Luis. He was dressed in a sweater that showed off every rippling muscle in his chest. His jeans showed off the shape of his perfect butt. 'Stop it Sheridan. You can't fall for him. It would never work. He's your bodyguard. No matter how much you want it too, it will never work.' She said to herself. She sighed as she threw the blankets off of her legs and struggled out of her bed.

Luis watched her throw off her blankets and struggle to stand up. He knew she was too stubborn to ask for help so he walked over to her and quietly held out his hand. He watched as she silently debated on whether or not to take his hand. Finally, she reached for his hand and he helped her stand up. It only took him a second to realize just how close he was standing to her. He looked into her ocean blue eyes and felt a tingle go through him. He wanted so much to kiss her. To feel her soft lips pressed against his. She looked so beautiful. He reluctantly let go of her hand and took a couple steps back.

Sheridan looked into his brown eyes. She wondered if he felt the same way about her as she did him. She cared about him so much. Sheridan was a little sad when Luis dropped her hand.

"I better get dressed." She said.

"Yeah." Luis agreed. "I'll be in the living room if you need anything."

'I need you.' Sheridan thought as she limped towards the bathroom.

Luis settled down on the couch to wait for Sheridan. He was so lost in thought that he didn't hear her come in. Sheridan cleared her throat.

"You okay?" She asked.

"Fine." Luis replied. He looked at her and smiled. He loved that way that she could make anything she wore look good on her. Right now she looked incredibly sexy in a low cut light green sweater that hugged all of her curves perfectly. His eyes drifted down to the short flowy green print skirt that she wore.

"Wow." Luis said. "You look great."

"Thanks." Sheridan said as she blushed a light pink.

She had been a little disappointed when he hadn't noticed her walk in, but the look on his face when he did see her made up for it. She couldn't take it. She had been living with this man for months now and she was pretty good friends with him. She could talk to him about anything. She wanted to know how he felt about her. If he felt the same way she did. For the past couple of days she had been trying to decide if she was going to ask him. After seeing that look on his face she came to her decision. She walked over to the couch and sat next to Luis.

"Luis," She started. "I have something to ask you."

"Anything." Luis said.

Sheridan took a deep breath, looked into his eyes and started. "Well, here goes. How do you feel�?"

Chapter 2

"Well, here goes. How do you feel�" Sheridan was interrupted by a knock on the door. She looked at Luis and reluctantly stood up to answer the door.

Luis watched her limp over to the door and wondered what she had been about to ask.

"Morning Guys." Hank said as he strolled through the door Sheridan had just opened. He leaned over and gave Sheridan a kiss on the cheek.

"Morning Hank." Sheridan answered. She was really getting sick of Hank. He showed up at the worst times and he couldn't seem to get it through his thick head that she wasn't interested in him.

"Sup Buddy?" Luis asked. He stood up and walked over to Sheridan and offered her his hand to help her down the stairs. For the second time that day she gratefully accepted his hand. He walked her to the armchair and watched her sit down. Hank sat down on the couch as close to Sheridan as he could. Luis just rolled his eyes then walked over to the table to pour himself a glass of water.

"So, what brings you out here today?" Sheridan asked Hank.

"I just thought I'd come by to see my favorite gal and best bud. You know, I just wanted to make sure that Luis wasn't giving you a hard time." Hank answered.

Sheridan looked over at Luis and smiled. "Oh, no. Luis has been a sweetheart lately." Luis just smiled.

"Good, I wouldn't�" Hank started but was interrupted by the ringing of his cell phone. "Hello?" Hank said into his phone. He listened for a moment. "I'll be right there." He said and hung up.

"Something wrong?" Luis asked as he walked over and stood beside the chair Sheridan was sitting in.

"Nope, I just forgot about a meeting that I had." Hank said as he stood up and walked towards the door.

"Have a great day." Sheridan said as Hank walked out the door. She watched the door close and shifted around to look at Luis.

"You hungry?" Luis asked.

"A little." Sheridan replied.

"Come on. I'll make us breakfast."

They walked towards the kitchen. When they got there Sheridan settled on a barstool by the counter while Luis started rummaging around in the refrigerator.

"When I get out of this cast, you're going to have to teach me how to cook." Sheridan said.

"Anytime." Luis answered. "It would be my pleasure. Hey, what were you going to ask me before Hank showed up?"

Sheridan thought for a second. "Oh." She said. "I don't remember. It wasn't that important though." She decided that she wouldn't ask him after all. He was her best friend and she didn't want to do anything that might make her lose him.

"Okay." Luis said as he wondered if she was telling the truth. "So, what do you want for breakfast?"

ONE WEEK LATER

"Finally, I'm FREE." Sheridan said. She and Luis were walking out of the hospital where Sheridan had just had her cast removed. "So, what do you want to do?"

"I have to go to set up the Youth Center. The kids are having a fund-raiser tomorrow. I have to go figure out the layout. I can take you home and get Crane security to watch you or you can come with me. Your choice." Luis said.

"I'll go with you." Sheridan said quickly. "I'm not ready to go home."

"Let's walk." Luis suggested. "You up to it?"

"Sounds great."

They strolled away from the hospital and towards the Youth Center. Luis held the door open for Sheridan then followed her in. Together they walked into the gym.

"What needs to be done? What can I do?" Sheridan asked.

"If you want, I can get the ladder and you can start hanging some of the banners." Luis offered.

"Point me in the direction of the banners." Sheridan said.

Luis pointed towards the storage closet as he turned around and went to get the ladder. A couple of minutes later, Luis was pulling tables out from the storage closet while Sheridan was hanging banners. Luis pulled the last table out then looked over at Sheridan. She looked so sexy dressed in a cropped baby blue sweater. The way she was standing Luis could see her midriff. His eyes followed her figure down to the form fitting jeans that she was wearing. 'This is crazy.' Luis thought. 'It could never work. She's a Crane and I hate the Cranes. Well, not her.' Luis sighed and turned back around to start setting up the tables.

Sheridan finished hanging her banner. She had felt Luis's eyes on her and she wondered what he had been thinking. She started to step down off of the ladder, but she had been so busy thinking about Luis that she totally missed the first step.

"Help." Sheridan yelped as the ladder started to topple. Luis turned around and saw Sheridan falling. He dropped the table he was working with and ran towards Sheridan. He got there just in time to catch her as she fell off the ladder.

"Woah." Luis said as he caught her. "You really gotta stop this falling from high places thing." Luis smiled at her and laughed.

"Tell me about it." Sheridan answered nervously. As Luis laughed she could feel every muscle move in his chest. She looked up at Luis and saw him looking at her.

Luis looked at Sheridan. It felt so right to be holding her in his arms. She looked up at him and he slowly lowered his head towards her. He had to kiss her. He was now just a few centimeters from her face.

Chapter 3

Luis was now just a few centimeters from her face. 'He's going to kiss me.' Sheridan thought excitedly. Suddenly Luis pulled away from Sheridan. He looked at the confused look on her face and gently stood her on the ground. He sighed and turned around to go back to the tables. Sheridan grabbed his arm and turned him towards her. "What just happened here?" Sheridan asked. She thought for sure that Luis had been about to kiss her. She had hoped that he would kiss her.

"You fell off of the ladder and I caught you." Luis answered. "Don't you remember?"

"Oh, I remember that part, but I was talking about after you caught me." Sheridan said.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Luis said and he turned around and walked back over to the tables. Even looking at her made him ache all over. He wanted her so much.

Sheridan watched him walk away. She had wanted to kiss him so badly. They finished setting up the gym in silence. Luis had just finished setting up the last booth when the harmony youth started to trickle in to decorate the gym.

"Hey Big Bro." Miguel came up and gave his brother a hug.

"Hey, Miguel. Sheridan and I just finished setting up the tables, banners, and booths." Luis said hugging his brother back. "Will this layout work for you?"

"Yeah, this layout is perfect." Kay said as she walked up and wound her arm through Miguel's. (In my story Charity is locked up in a psycho ward for going evil.)

"Good." Luis said. "I'm going to leave you guys here to decorate, okay?"

"Yeah, okay." Miguel said. "Hi Sheridan."

She had just walked up to Miguel, Luis, and Kay.

"Hey Miguel, Kay." Sheridan said.

"Ready to go?" Luis asked Sheridan.

"Whenever you are."

"Let's go then." They waved bye to the kids and walked back to the hospital to pick up the car.

"Something wrong?" Luis asked as they climbed into the car.

"Nope, I was just thinking." Sheridan said. "Remember when I asked you to teach me to cook after I got out of my cast?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Well, I was wondering if you could start my lessons today." Sheridan looked at Luis and smiled.

Luis took his eyes off the road long enough to glance at her. He saw her beautiful smile that could light up the world and grinned back.

"Sure, if you think you can handle it."

"Oh, I'm sure I can handle it, Officer." Sheridan laughed.

Luis pulled the car into the driveway and he and Sheridan walked into the cottage.

"Do you want to start now or wait until later?" Luis asked.

"How does now sound?"

"Let's go." Luis said as they walked from the living room and into the kitchen.

"So, what do you know how to cook?"

"Eggs."

"That's it?"

"Yep."

"Oh boy, this'll be fun." Luis said. "Do you know how to boil water?"

"Yes smart ass, I do."

"Just asking." Luis smiled. She was so beautiful when she was mad at him. "Let's start with something easy. How about spaghetti?"

"Sounds easy enough."

"Well, first things first. Boil a pot of water."

"Who would have thought." Sheridan said.

Luis explained to her how much water to put in the pot. Then he got out a skillet as Sheridan added the spaghetti.

"What's that for?" Sheridan asked seeing the skillet.

"You have to brown the meat in something." Luis said.

"It doesn't come browned?" Sheridan asked.

"Nope. Come here." He put the skillet on the stove and turned it on. Sheridan walked over to Luis and he handed her the meat.

"What do you want me to do with this?" Sheridan asked.

"Um, brown it." Luis said trying to hide a smile.

"Fine, I can do this." She turned around and dropped the meat into the skillet. "There."

"You're just going to leave it there?"

"Yeah."

"Sheridan, you have to stir it and turn the meat."

"With what?"

"Here." Luis handed her a spoon, then seeing the confused look on her face he walked over to help her. He turned her towards the skillet. Then standing behind her he guided her hand to the skillet and showed her what to do.

Sheridan was really enjoying her cooking lessons. Especially now that Luis was basically wrapped around her showing her what to do. She loved the feeling of being in his arms. She leaned her head back and rested it on his shoulder.

It was hard enough for him to be this close to Sheridan with out jumping her, but when she leaned her head back against his shoulder he couldn't take it anymore. He wrapped his arms around her slender waist and pulled her close. Sheridan dropped the spoon and turned around to face Luis. He looked at her and seconds later her was passionately kissing her.

Chapter 4

Sheridan ran her fingers through the hair at Luis's neck as she pulled him closer. She suddenly felt so alive. Her whole body felt like it was on fire. "Luis." She moaned as he broke the kiss.

That was all Luis needed. He turned off the stove and then picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. He gently laid her on the bed and she pulled him down on top of her. He covered her mouth with his and once again they shared a fiery, passionate kiss.

"God Sheridan." Luis muttered as he worked his way from her mouth to her neck. Sheridan had unbuttoned his shirt and was now slipping it off of his shoulders. She pulled him up for another kiss then moaned as Luis worked his way back down to her neck. When he moved back to her mouth she flipped them over. Luis pulled off Sheridan's shirt and unhooked her black bra. He took one look at Sheridan and his mouth covered her breast. His tongue teasing her. She moaned and arched against him, begging for more. Luis slowly kissed his way back to Sheridan's mouth. His hands moved to her waist and to the waistband of her jeans. He unbuttoned and unzipped them and seconds later they were added to the growing pile of clothes. He slowly pulled off her panties and threw them to the side. The he slowly trailed kisses all over her perfect body. He smiled as she moaned in delight. Sheridan pulled him up and kissed him. Then she flipped him over. She sat up and unbuttoned and unzipped his pants. She pulled them off then added them to the almost complete pile of clothes. Luis moaned and pulled her back down on top of him. He kissed her mouth then moved to her neck. Sheridan finally worked Luis's boxers off of him and let herself melt on top of him.

"Luis, I want you." Sheridan said in a low voice.

"Are you sure?" Luis asked looking her in the eyes. Sheridan just pulled him down into another kiss. She wanted to taste him. To feel his tongue wrestle with hers.

Luis grounded his mouth into Sheridan's. He felt like he was in heaven. He wanted her so bad. He slowly and gently eased his body down over hers. Sheridan reached up and pulled his hips over hers.

"Sheridan." Luis moaned. "Are you sure?"

"Yes Luis. I'm sure." Sheridan whispered.

"I love you, Sheridan." Luis admitted.

Sheridan's eyes filled with tears. "I love you too Luis." She replied as tears slipped down her cheeks. Luis reached up to wipe away her tears. He gently kissed her and slowly began to make love to her. He tried to go slow, to be gentle, but he wanted more.

Sheridan was riding a wave of passion. She could tell that Luis was holding back and she wanted him, all of him. She began to move faster and she could tell that she was getting to Luis.

Luis couldn't hold out any longer. He had to have Sheridan. He speeds up to match her pace and suddenly they were making wild love.

Sheridan had never experienced anything like this. Oh, she had made love before, but it had never been like this. She had never felt so alive and loved. She knew that she would never feel this way with anyone else. Suddenly she moaned. She had reached her peak.

"Oh Luis." She moaned.

Luis couldn't hold out any longer. He let go and shuddered as he filled her. He laid there for a moment, just lying on Sheridan.

Sheridan was in love. She loved the feel of Luis's body pressing down on hers, the gentleness of his touch and the roughness of his love. She began to trace lazy circles on his back.

Luis could feel Sheridan's fingers on his back. He gently kissed her and rolled off of her. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close.

"I love you, beautiful Sheridan." Luis whispered as he kissed her neck.

"I love you too, Luis." Sheridan rolled over and kissed him. She couldn't stop and suddenly they were tenderly making love again.

LATER

They rolled off of each other, spent.

Luis didn't know that making love could be so perfect. He pulled Sheridan towards him and she came willingly. She gently laid her hand on his chest and they both fell asleep.

Chapter 5

When Sheridan woke up in the morning she smiled. She lifted her head from Luis's chest and looked up at the face of the man she had just spent the night with. She gently caressed his check then smiled again as his eyes fluttered open. He looked down at her and smiled.

"Morning Princess." Luis said as he gently kissed Sheridan's mouth.

"Morning Prince." Sheridan replied as she snuggled closer to Luis.

"You know last night was incredible."

"Yes, it was."

"I was serious when I said that I loved you, Sheridan." Luis tilted her chin up so that she was looking at him.

"I know and I love you too Luis." Sheridan said looking deep into his brown eyes. Luis smiled at her.

"What time is it?" Luis asked suddenly.

Sheridan looked over his shoulder at the clock. "11:00"

Luis groaned. "I've got to be at the Youth center in an hour to finish setting up, but I don't want to leave you or this bed." Luis said.

"I'm coming with you." Sheridan said as she sat up. "Come on." She said and pulled him out of bed. "You can have first shower." She pulled on a short satin pale yellow robe.

Luis kissed her and headed towards the bathroom. He took a quick shower them walked out in only his boxers. "All yours." He said as he headed to the living room to get dressed.

Sheridan took a quick shower then started digging through her closet looking for her favorite red shirt. She found it hanging in the back of her closet and turned around to look for her black jeans. She found them and got dressed. Then she walked over to her mirror and put on earrings, a necklace and a bracelet. She decided that she didn't want to deal with makeup today so she put on some mascara and lip-gloss and set off to find Luis. When she walked into the living room she saw Luis standing next to the couch looking lost in thought. She stopped in the doorway and looked at him. He was dressed in a black sweater and black jeans and man did he look sexy. Sheridan walked over to him and wrapped her arms around his neck.

"What are you thinking about?" Sheridan inquired.

"You." Luis said.

"Me?"

"Yes, you."

"What were you thinking?"

"I was thinking about how much I love you and what I would do if anything ever came between us." Luis admitted.

"You mean like my family?" Sheridan asked.

"Sheridan, they're not going to be happy about us being lovers." Luis said.

"So maybe we shouldn't tell people for a while. You know, just let it be our little secret." Sheridan suggested.

"That wouldn't bother you?" He asked.

"Luis, as long as I'm with you I don't care if God knows." Sheridan answered.

Luis pulled her into a kiss that took her breath away. "Come on Baby. Let's go." Luis reached for her hand. She grabbed it and they walked out to the car. He held the door open for her as she climbed in. Luis walked around the car and got in. He sat there for a moment before asking; "Do you think we should be doing this?"

"Doing what?" Sheridan asked confused.

"Falling in love wasn't part of the plan."

"What?!?" Sheridan said.

"I'm supposed to be your bodyguard. Do you really think that I should be involved with you right now?"

"Luis!" Sheridan exclaimed. "Are you saying that you don't love me anymore?"

"No, Sheridan. I still love you. Nothing will ever change that. I will always love you." Luis said pulling her into a hug. "I just don't want anything to happen to you because of me."

"If it means being with you that's a chance that I'm willing to take." Sheridan promised.

"Me too. I was just checking to make sure you knew what we were getting into." Luis said. Luis looked deep into Sheridan's blue eyes. They were starting to fill with tears. A few slipped down her cheek. Luis reached over and gently brushed her tears away with his thumb. "Sheridan I can never regret last night and I will never stop loving you, NEVER." He leaned over and pulled her into a tender kiss. "I love you Sheridan." Luis said against her lips.

"I love you too Luis. So much." Sheridan promised.

Luis pulled away from Sheridan and started the car. He reached over and gave her another kiss before driving towards the Youth Center.

Sheridan was in the gym setting up some last minute decorations when Hank walked in.

"Hey Gorgeous." Hank said.

Sheridan cringed and turned around. "Morning Hank." She said.

"Are you coming to the carnival tonight?" He asked.

"Yes."

"Will you be my date?" Hank pleaded.

"Sorry Hank, I already promised Luis that I'd help him chaperone the carnival." Sheridan said relived.

"Oh." Hank said disappointed. "Well how about you and I go grab some lunch?"

"Sorry Hank, but I still have a lot to do before tonight. Maybe some other time." Sheridan said.

"Okay, sure." Hank said. He turned to leave, then walked over to Sheridan. He planted a sloppy, wet kiss on her cheek, then practically skipped out the door. Sheridan wiped his slobber off of her cheek then headed towards Luis's office.

While Sheridan was in the gym, Luis was in his office trying to do some paperwork. His mind kept drifting towards Sheridan. He kept thinking about the way her lips had felt on his, the way her body moved with his. He shook he head. 'Come on Luis, you've got to get this work done.' He said to himself. He couldn't concentrate so he got up to go find Sheridan. Just as he got to the door, it opened and smacked him in the head. He yelped, grabbed his forehead and stumbled backwards.

"Oh my gosh." A voice said. Sheridan rushed over to Luis as the door closed behind her. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed.

Luis looked at her beautiful face and her worried eyes and decided to have some fun. "Do�do�do I know you?" Luis asked.

Chapter 6

"What?" Sheridan asked confused.

"Do I know you and where am I?" He looked around his office and tried not to laugh.

"Oh my goodness. What did I do?" Sheridan said as her eyes filled with tears.

Luis looked at her and saw the tears in her eyes. He suddenly felt bad for teasing her. He closed the space between them and pulled her into a passionate kiss. He broke away and looked at her sheepishly. "I'm sorry Sheridan. I didn't mean to make you cry." He said. "I was just teasing you because you smacked me in the head with the door."

"LUIS LOPEZ FITZGERALD!" Sheridan exclaimed. "You're a brat. That was really mean! I didn't mean to hit you."

"I know, I didn't know that you would cry." He said cupping her chin in his hand. "Honest, I didn't mean to hurt you." He pulled her into another kiss.

They broke off and Luis stepped back. She watched as he started to teeter. Sheridan reached out and caught his hand. She led him over to the couch and made him sit down. She noticed a bump forming on his forehead. She walked over to the first aid kit and pulled out an ice pack. She walked back over to Luis and gently placed it on his head. She noticed him wince a little and leaned down to kiss him. She had just stood up when there was a knock on the door. Sheridan walked over and opened the door to find Beth there.

"Hi Sheridan!" Beth said cheerfully. "Is Luis around?"

Sheridan stepped back and opened the door so Beth could see Luis sitting on the couch. "Hi Beth."

"Oh no, Luis." Beth said as she rushed over to him.

"What happened?"

"I got hit in the head." He said simply.

"Are you going to be okay?" She gushed.

Luis looked over at Sheridan and saw that annoyed look on her face. He carefully stood up and walked over to his desk. "I'm fine Beth. It's just a bump on the head." He said.

"Good." Beth said relived. She remembered the reason she came. She looked at Luis and smiled brightly. "I just came by to ask if you wanted to be my date to the carnival tonight."

"Sorry Beth, I can't." Luis said. He looked at Sheridan. "I already asked Sheridan to chaperone with me."

"Oh." Beth said as she frowned at Sheridan. "I've got to get back to work. I'll talk to you later." Beth got up and walked out of the Youth Center.

Tired of interruptions Luis said, "Help me file these papers and let's get out of here. I want to spend some quality time with you."

"Well, let's get to work." Sheridan said. She grabbed a stack of papers and headed towards the file cabinet. Sheridan and Luis worked quickly and they finished in an hour. Sheridan had gone to get her purse. Luis was putting on his coat when Sam walked in.

"Hey Luis." Sam said.

"Hey Sam. What can I do for you?" Luis replied.

"I just came by to see how things were going between you and Sheridan."

Luis thought about the night of passion he had shared with Sheridan and smiled. "Things are going great, Sam. Why?"

"Have you fallen for her, Luis?" Sam asked looking at him closely.

"Completely and totally." Luis admitted.

Unknown to them Sheridan was standing outside the door listening. She smiled at Luis's last comment.

"I know, I accidentally overheard you and Sam talking." Luis opened his mouth to interrupt but Sheridan held up her hand. "Wait, let me finish. I don't want you to lose your badge, Luis. You have your family to think about, Theresa and Miguel's college funds and your mother. I love you, but I don't want it to tear your family apart." Sheridan explained.

Luis pulled into the driveway at Sheridan's cottage and they climbed out. Luis took her hand and silently they walked into the cottage. Luis sat down on the couch and pulled her into his lap. He looked her straight in the eyes. "Sheridan Crane. I love you with my whole heart. I don't care what anyone thinks or says. I would give up everything if it meant being with you. As for Julian, I don't give a fat rat's ass what he thinks. There is no way that he can stop me from loving you. "I always will be. Come on, we need to get up and get to the Youth Center. Don't forget the carnival is in a couple of hours." Luis said.

"I don't want to leave, but at least I'll be with you." Sheridan said looking at Luis. Suddenly she smiled. "Hey, I'm going to win you a prize tonight."

"I've already got my prize." Luis muttered pulling Sheridan into a passionate kiss. Sheridan broke the kiss and stood up.

"Come on Romeo, go get dressed." She said laughing. "What should I wear tonight?"

YOUTH CENTER

The gym was packed with people of all ages. Sheridan and Luis walked in and smiled.

"The kids did a great job decorating." Sheridan stated.

"How about we go check out your brother and Kay's booth." Sheridan suggested.

"Don't act so surprised." Kay said smiling back. "Don't forget you're signed up for an hour today."

"So what time are you signed up for?" Sheridan asked.

"Remember, I'm a rich Crane. I can afford to keep you to myself for the whole hour if I wanted to."

"Details. Details. Details." She muttered as she turned around.

Luis laughed when he saw who was in the tank. They walked over to the booth.

"Hey Luis, Sheridan." Jessica said laughing. "I told Uncle Hank that I'd make him eat Mom's tomato soup cake if he didn't help me. He practically jumped at the chance. Actually, Mom's got a booth on the other side of the gym if you're interested."

"Well, I would like to dunk Hank." Sheridan said.

"As you wish." Jessica said handing her three balls. Then she showed her where to stand.

"Actually yes, I do plan on dunking you." Sheridan said as fired the first shot. She heard Luis laugh as Hank slipped into the water. She smiled when Hank came up sputtering. She waited until hank was settled then sent him flying into the water again. She heard Luis and Jessica howling with laugher and noticed the growing crowd. She laughed and threw her last ball. Hank took another all expense paid trip into the water and Sheridan cracked up. Hank came out of the water looking like a wet cat. Jessica walked over to Sheridan and gave her a hug.

"That was awesome!" Jessica exclaimed. "You won yourself a big prize. Go ahead and go pick one. I'm going to go give Uncle Hank a towel." Jessica walked off and Sheridan walked over to there Luis was standing.

"Pick a prize handsome." Sheridan told Luis.

"You pick, you're the one that drowned Hank." Luis said laughing.

"But this is the prize that I promised you."

"And I already told you that I already had my prize." He said looking deep into her eyes.

"Luis, if you don't pick one I'm going to get you a doll with a pink dress."

"How about you pick for me, and be nice." Luis suggested.

"Okay." Sheridan said as Jessica walked over.

"Have you decided?" Jessica asked.

"Yeah, I want that one." Sheridan said pointing to a giant dog. Jessica handed her the dog and smiled.

"Bye." Jessica said as she watched them walk off.

"You pick somewhere to go now." Sheridan said.

"Come over here." Luis said as he pulled her to where Theresa and Whitney's booth were.

"Hey Guys, having fun?" Theresa asked as they walked up.

"Yep." Sheridan said smiling.

"Totally, I just watched Sheridan drown Hank." Luis said.

"Yeah, we saw that. Great job." Whitney said.

"So are you guys here to get your picture taken or to talk to us."

"Both." Luis said smoothly.

"Well come on then." Theresa said as she led them to the backdrop. She looked at them and smiled. "I have the perfect pose." She walked over and pulled Luis over to Sheridan. She took the stuffed animal from Sheridan and tossed it to Whitney. "Now stand behind Sheridan and wrap you arms around her waist.

"What?" Luis asked.

"Wrap your arms around her waist." Theresa repeated.

"Okay." Luis said. He walked up behind Sheridan and wrapped his arms around her slender waist. He pulled her close and leaned his head down net to hers. She leaned her head back against his shoulder and smiled.

"Perfect!" Theresa said excitedly. Whitney snapped two pictures and they all waited for the Polaroid's to develop. Luis walked over and picked up the dog from the floor. He walked back over to the girls who were looking at the newly developed pictures. He walked up behind Sheridan and looked over her shoulder at the pictures. They really were a perfect looking couple.

"Those are cute guys." Luis said.

"I think it's the people in the picture." Theresa said as Luis rolled his eyes.

"Yeah okay. Sheridan I'm going to go put this in my office before I go for my shift at Kay's booth." Luis said.

"Okay." Sheridan said still looking at the pictures. Luis walked off and Sheridan noticed that she was still holding the pictures. "Oh, the pictures. Luis wait." She said beginning to follow him. She caught up with him just as he was walking out of the gym.

She talked to Chad for a minute before heading back over to Theresa and Whitney's booth. When she got there she saw Ethan, Theresa's boyfriend.

"Hello Ethan." Sheridan said smiling at her nephew.

"Hey Sheridan, are you here to have your picture taken?" Ethan asked.

"Nope, I've already done that. Actually, I was wondering if I could talk to the girls for a minute."

"Sure, I'll just go talk to Chad." Ethan said as he walked off.

"What's up Sheridan?" Theresa wondered.

Sheridan smiled and explained her plan to the girls. They laughed and agreed to help her.

"See you later." Sheridan said. She smiled at the girls and went to see how Luis was doing. She walked up just as Luis finished kissing an old lady. He gave her a look daring her to laugh.

Luis noticed that Sheridan didn't laugh aloud, but he could see the laughter dancing in her shining blue eyes.

"Can I help you?" Luis asked.

"How's it going over here?" Sheridan asked.

"Not too bad." Luis said as Beth walked up.

"Interested in another customer?" Beth asked.

"Beth, you've been here five times in the last half hour.. Haven't you gotten sick of me yet?" Luis asked hopefully.

"I could never tire of your kisses Luis." Beth said glancing at Sheridan. Seeing the angry look on her face she continued. "Kissing you brings back so many good memories."

"Well, you'll just have to wait your turn." Luis said. "Sheridan was here first." He looked at Sheridan and smiled a sweet smiled. "Ready Miss Crane?"

"Since you've been here five times already." Luis leaned over and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Beth walked away pouting while Sheridan laughed. "You keep laughing at me and I'm going to put you in the dunk tank." Luis threatened as Sheridan laughed harder.

Luis looked at her. She was so gorgeous, even when she was making fun of him. "Sheridan Crane! If you don't stop laughing I'll make Hank guard you tonight."

"Hey Theresa, Ethan, Whitney and Chad." Sheridan said as she walked up.

"I am her body guard." Luis said matter of factly.

"I was just getting back at Sheridan for trying to drown me." Hank explained.

"By kissing her?" Whitney asked.

"Well, we all know that Sheridan wants me." Hank said with a stupid grin on his face.

"Where's Luis?" He said he was coming back to me�I mean to guard me, when his shift was up." Sheridan asked.

"Well, Luis saw you kissing Hank and he assumed that you wanted Hank to guard you right now." Theresa said. "He said he was going to his office."

"Well, I'm going to go find him." Sheridan said.

"Why?" Hank whined. "We were just starting to have fun."

"I'm tired and I want to go home." Sheridan snapped. "Sam, TC, and Eve are here to chaperone the rest of the event." Sheridan said softly.

"I'll go home with you." Hank offered.

"You can't, you still have a couple of hours before you can leave." Sheridan said hurriedly. "I'll just go find Luis."

Sheridan stood up and started to walk away. "Call me girls." She called over her shoulder. She walked out of the gym and to Luis's office. She opened the dog and quietly stepped inside. She looked around for Luis and saw him sitting behind his desk holding the dog she had won for him.

Luis picked up the dog and looked at it. He smiled and hugged it close. "I love you Sheridan." Luis said aloud in what he thought was the empty office.

"I love you too Luis." Sheridan said.

Luis stood up quickly and looked at Sheridan. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "I thought you'd be with Hank."

"Yeah, let's go." He said in a deep voice. He grabbed the dog and Sheridan and they practically ran to the car. Luis held the door open for Sheridan then ran around to the other side of the car. He climbed n and pulled Sheridan into a heated kiss. He broke the kiss and they drove home in silence. Luis pulled up to the cottage and before the car was turned off Sheridan was out of the car and headed towards the cottage. Luis was right behind her. They walked into the cottage and stopped short at the sight that greeted them.

Sheridan gasped. Sitting on her couch was Hank and Beth. "What are you doing here?" Sheridan asked.

"It took you and Luis forever to come out of that office, so I figured that I'd come here to be with my girl Sheridan and I'd bring Beth over to keep Luis company." Hank explained.

"First of all Hank, as far as I know Sheridan's not anybody's girl." Luis started. "And secondly, no offense Beth, but I'm not really in a company mood. I just want to go to bed and you're sitting on my bed."

"Well, that's a little rude Luis." Beth said as she and Hank stood up.

"What it with you two? Did you get into another argument or something?" Hank asked confused.

"Something like that." Sheridan mumbled as she walked towards her bedroom.

"Well, I can tell when I'm not wanted." Beth said walking towards the door. "Come on Hank."

Luis opened the door and Hank and Beth left. He closed the door behind them and locked it. He turned out the lights in the living room and went to find Sheridan. He walked into her bedroom and grinned at the sight that greeted him. While he had been kicking out Hank and Beth, Sheridan had transformed her room. There were candles all over the room. He watched Sheridan light the final candle and smiled. He walked over and turned on the radio.

Sheridan felt Luis's eyes on her. She lit the last candle. As she was blowing out the match she heard the radio click on. She turned around and was surprised to find Luis right behind her. "Hi." Sheridan said wrapping her arms around his neck.

"Hey." Luis said as he pulled her into a slow but passionate kiss. The music floated up around them as Luis picked up Sheridan and carried her to the bed. He gently laid her on the bed the followed her, never breaking the kiss.

�Well, since you and Sheridan got in a fight, I thought I�d come over here and spend time . . . I mean watch her while you go somewhere and calm down. I think Beth is at The Book Caf�.�

�Luis, I love you! I�m tired of hiding our love. I don�t care what my family thinks about us, want to be a real couple.� She brought her hand to Luis�s face and began to trace the contours.

Luis smiled as he felt Sheridan�s finger trace his lips. �I�m glad you feel that way, because I wanted to talk to you about that. Especially after what happened with Hank today. I want it to be crystal clear that I love you and my heart belongs to you.�

�And you have my heart Luis. You always have. I love you completely.� She took another step closer to him. �In fact, I�m going to show you just how much I love you.� She reached up and pulled Luis down into a passionate kiss.

Luis gathered her close to him. His tongue traced Sheridan�s lips begging for entrance. She opened her mouth and Luis�s tongue shot into her mouth. Their tongues immediately began to dance. He picked her up in his arms and carried her into the bedroom. They spent most of the might showing each other just how much they loved the other.

Chapter 12

When Sheridan woke up the next morning she reached over to Luis ad sat up when her hand met an empty bed.

�Where�s Luis�? She wondered out loud. She stood up when she heard the shower running. �Perfect!� She whispered laughing to herself. She quietly opened the door to the bathroom and slipped in. She closed and locked it behind her. She saw Luis�s naked body glistening under the water and almost groaned aloud. She quickly slid off her nightgown and slid into the shower behind Luis. She felt his body tense then relax.

�Morning Baby.� Luis said as he turned around and pulled her into a kiss. When they separated they were both breathless.

�Morning to you too Honey.� Sheridan replied. �Did you sleep well?�

�Let�s just say I didn�t mind waking up every hour.�

�That�s not just my fault.�

�I know.� Luis said as he splashed some water at her. Sheridan just smiled and picked up the shampoo. She squirted some into her hands and began to wash Luis�s hair.

�You�re going to make me smell like strawberries Sher.� Luis complained.

�That�s okay, you�ll smell yummy enough to eat.� She replied placing a kiss on his chest.

He groaned and pulled her into a kiss. His hands slid to her waist as he began to get hard. Sheridan giggled and pulled away.

�I can�t wash you if you keep doing that.� Sheridan commented.

�I�m in the shower with you all alone and completely naked and you�re complaining because I kissed you?� Luis asked in disbelief. �I must be losing my touch.�

"Oh you�re not losing your touch.� Sheridan replied laughing and running a fingernail gently down his chest. Luis groaned and stuck out his lower lip in a pout. Sheridan smiled, gave him a peck on the lips and proceeded to wash every single inch of him. Sheridan grinned as she watched him get harder.

�Sheridan, you�re killing me here.� Luis groaned.

He pulled her into his arms and this time she didn�t pull away. Luis feverishly began to kiss her sweet lips. When her lips opened his tongue shot into her warm mouth and their tongues began to mate with each other. Luis pulled away and started to plant kisses on her neck. Sheridan leaned her head back to give him better accuse and moaned. He trailed kisses across her chest and his mouth finally settled on her right breast. His tongue shot out and he tasted her. His teeth lightly nipped her and he began to gentle suck. Sheridan tangled her fingers in his hair and pulled him closer to her body as she began to harden.

�Luis.� Sheridan moaned as felt a fire spread through her already heated body. She leaned against the shower wall as Luis moved to her left breast and gave it the same treatment. He slowly moved down her body and touched her intimately. Sheridan slipped down to the shower�s floor and sighed. Luis gently kissed her intimately and used his tongue to taste her sweetness. When she couldn�t take it any longer Sheridan pulled him up into a passionate kiss. With their tongues exploring each other's mouths Sheridan slid her hands down Luis�s slick chest to his butt. She gently squeezed and slid her right hand around to cup Luis. He groaned loudly when he felt Sheridan�s soft fingers began to stroke his throbbing length. Sheridan broke the kiss and her mouth quickly replaced her hand. She kissed the tip of him then took him slowly into her mouth. Using her mouth she began to show Luis how much she loved him.

�Oh God Sheridan yes.� Luis growled. Sheridan took him farther into her mouth and used her tongue to tease him. Luis pulled Sheridan up to him and into another kiss.

Sheridan felt the pressure building up in her and she knew she couldn't last much longer. "Now Luis." Sheridan said breathlessly. Luis looked her in the eye and kissed her and he entered her. He felt her stretch then tighten as he filled her completely. Then lying on the shower floor they found the rhythm that only they had. They climaxed powerfully at the same time.

"Luis!!" Sheridan screamed as she raked her nails down his back.

"Sheridan!!" Luis yelled as he felt himself explode within her.

They lay there shuddering for a few moments before Luis gently separated them. He stood up and gently pulled Sheridan up with him. He gently kissed her then turned off the now cold water. They stepped out of the shower and dried each other off. Then with Sheridan with her back to Luis's chest and one towel wrapped around both of them they walked into the bedroom.

"I could get used to that good morning greeting." Luis said gently kissing Sheridan's neck.

"I honestly only meant to share a shower with you." Sheridan said leaning her head back against his shoulder.

"We're you disappointed?" Luis asked.

"No way Baby. In fact, I think I'm ready for another round." Sheridan said turning around to face him. Luis dropped the towel and they fell onto the bed for another round of love making.

Chapter 13

When Luis woke up he was looking into Sheridan�s sparkling eyes.

�Morning again.� Luis said.

�Actually, that would be good afternoon.� Sheridan said pointing to the clock on the nightstand. �It�s 12:30.�

�Oh.� Luis said. He pulled Sheridan onto his chest and gave her a short sensual kiss. �Well, then good afternoon.�

Sheridan giggled and gave him another short sweet kiss. �can we get up? I�m starving.�

�Sure, what do you want to eat?� Luis said raising into a sitting position.

�Actually, I was wondering if we could go to The Book Caf� to grab some lunch.� Sheridan said hopefully.

�I don�t know Sher. The drug cartel is still out there.� Luis said leaning against the headboard.

Sheridan climbed on Luis straddling his thighs and put a pout on her face. �Please?� Sheridan said leaning her head on his shoulder and wrapping her arms around his neck.

Luis groaned as he felt Sheridan�s naked body pressed against his. �Okay, okay, but if you move now we�re never going to leave today.� Luis said caressing her curves.

Sheridan giggled and gave Luis another quick kiss before climbing off of him to get dressed. �Come Luis. Let�s go.�

Luis dragged out of bed and bent down to pick up his jeans off the floor. �I�d rather stay in bed with you all day.� He grumbled.

�Luis, I love you, but you need to hurry up!� Sheridan said pulling a red sweater over her head.

Luis laughed, picked up Sheridan and dumped her on the bed. He stuck out his tongue then went to the living room to get a shirt. Sheridan laughed and threw a pillow hitting him in the back.

�Oh you�re going to be like that are you.� Luis said turning around. He ran back over to the bed and began to tickle Sheridan mercilessly.

�Luis stop!� Sheridan shrieked trying to squirm out of his reach.

He tickled her for a few more moments then released her grinning. �Now let me go get dressed or we�re not leaving.� Luis said.

�Okay.� Sheridan said lying on the bed trying to catch her breath. She walked into the living room and saw Luis sitting on the couch with a bored expression.

�What took you so long?� He said grinning as he looked at her.

�Funny Officer, I�m ready now so let�s go.� Sheridan replied laughing.

Luis got stood up with a serious look on his face and grabbed Sheridan�s arm before she could walk away.

�Wait, there are some ground rules that we need to make before we go anywhere.� Luis said.

�Like what?� Sheridan said suspiciously.

�Well number one, your life is still in danger. I already don�t have a good felling about this, but I love you and I want you to be happy. If I say we�re leaving, we leave. Understood?� Luis started. He waited for Sheridan to nod her agreement before continuing. �Number two, don�t go ANYWHERE with out telling me. If you have to go to the bathroom, tell me. If you�re going to get a magazine, tell me. Okay, and number 3, smile and give me a kiss before we leave please.� Luis said smiling at his third rule.

�I think I like number three the best.� Sheridan said in a low voice wrapping her arms around his neck. She laced her fingers through his thick black hair and pulled him into a toe curling passionate kiss. When they pulled apart, Luis smacked his lips.

�Um yummy.� Luis teased.

Sheridan smiled and wound her fingers through Luis�s. They walked out to the car hand in hand.

Luis pulled the car into a parking spot at The Book Caf�.

�Do I need to repeat the rules or are you going to remember them?� Luis asked smiling.

�Considering the fact you just recited them to be 20 minutes ago, I think I can remember them.� Sheridan replied. �Although, I think number three needs to be repeated.�

�With pleasure.� Luis said as he pulled Sheridan into a short fiery kiss. When they broke apart Luis climbed out of the car and walked around to open Sheridan�s car door. �My lady.� He said bowing deeply.

�Thank you sir.� Sheridan giggled as she climbed out of the car. Luis closed the door and they started walking towards The Book Caf�

�Luis hold on a second.� Sheridan mumbled after a few steps. �I�ve got a rock in my sandal.� She stooped to get the rock out and Luis kept walking for a couple steps. He looked around the parking lot. When he turned back to look at Sheridan he saw a car speeding towards her. Any second it would hit her.

�Sheridan!� Luis yelled. She looked up and her eyes got wide.

�Luis!� She screamed.

Chapter 14

Luis was frozen still as he saw the car barreling down on Sheridan. He heard a loud crunching noise and seconds later the car was a ways down the street and Luis was running towards the spot where Sheridan had been.

�Sheridan!� He called. �Where are you?� He heard a moan on the other side of the crushed car and he took of running. When he rounded the other side he found Sheridan lying on the ground. She was struggling to sit up. Her arms were scraped and there was a small cut bleeding from a cut on her chin. �Oh God Sheridan.� Luis said as he breathed a sigh of relief and knelt down next to her. �Are you okay Baby?�

Sheridan nodded slowly and instantly regretted it. Her head was throbbing and that movement didn�t help any. She look at Luis dazed as he lifted her from the ground and sat her on the hood of the car. As soon as he looked into her eyes she started crying. She threw her arms around his neck and began to sob. Luis gently rubbed her back in small circles. He whispered soothing things into her ear and planted kisses on her forehead and hairline. When her sobs subsided Luis gently cupped her face in his hands and used his thumbs to gently wipe away her tears.

�What happened Sher?� Luis asked gently.

Sheridan hiccuped and shrugged a little. �I�m not quite sure. I was getting the rock out of my sandal when I head you yell my name. I saw the car coming at me and I froze for a second. I dove out of the way just as the car would have hit me. It hit the car instead. I just slide across the ground and next thing I knew you were there.� She touched his face and gave him a little kiss. �I was so scared Luis.�

�Me too Baby. I thought I was going to lose you.� He kissed the palm of her hand and stepped back to look at her. �Do you hurt anywhere besides you arms and chin. I mean does anything feel broken?� He asked her.

�No, I�m just really sore. I hit the ground kind of hard.� She replied.

�I can imagine. Come on, I�m going to take you to see Dr. Russell and then we�ll get you home. A nice bubble bath should release some of the tension and soothe some of the aches.� Luis lifted her off of the car and helped her to stand up. Since their car was smashed in Luis called a cab. When it got there he helped her into the car and then climbed in after her. He told the cab driver where to go and then he pulled Sheridan into a hug. She remained in his arms until they reached the hospital.

Luis held Sheridan�s hand while they waited for Dr. Russell to come back and release Sheridan. She had been told that she would be just fine. She just needed to get some rest. Luis gently kissed Sheridan and gave her a little smile. Dr. Russell walked in and gave Sheridan and Luis a smile.

�You make sure that Sheridan gets some rest Luis.� Eve Russell said.

�Oh, I plan on it Eve.� Luis laughed. Sheridan just smiled a little. �Are you ready to go home?� Luis asked Sheridan.

�More than ready.� Sheridan replied. Luis helped her climb down off the table and then they walked out to the cab with their fingers still entwined.

As soon as they got back to the cottage Luis went straight to the bathroom and drew Sheridan a warm bubble bath.

�Why don�t you go relax Sweetie.� Luis said. �I drew a bath for you.�

�Will you take a bath with me Luis?� Sheridan asked shyly.

Luis looked at her and smiled. �If you want me too, I will.�

They walked to the bathroom and undressed each other. Then Sheridan climbed into the bathtub and Luis climbed in after her. Luis leaned against the back of the tub and Sheridan leaned against his chest. He kissed the back of her head and wrapped his arms around her.

�I love you Sheridan.� Luis said.

�I love you too Luis.� Sheridan said as she snuggled closer to him.

Chapter 15

Sheridan leaned back against Luis's chest and sighed. Now this was a way to get rid of tension. She snuggled closer to Luis as she felt his hands rubbing her stomach. As sore as she was she would go through it again to feel this close to Luis.

Luis absently rubbed Sheridan's stomach as he held her close. He didn't know what he would have done if anything had happened to her. He thought that he would of died himself if that car had hit her. He didn't know that he could love someone so much.

"A penny for your thoughts." Sheridan said into the silence.

"Only a penny?" Luis joked.

"Luis, what's wrong?" Sheridan pressed.

"I was just thinking about what my life would be like if anything had happened to you. I don't think my life could go on without you in it. I love you so much." Luis said pressing another kiss to the back of her head.

"Oh Luis." Sheridan said shifting around so that she was facing him. She brought her hands up to his face and she gently cupped his face. "I love you Luis Lopez Fitzgerald. I don't plan on leaving you anytime soon. There is too much for us to experience together."

"You've planned on leaving?" Luis asked with a hurt look in his eye.

"Luis!" Sheridan exclaimed. "I was saying that I didn't plan on dying anytime soon. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I would never leave you." Sheridan said shifting her head so that she was eye to eye with Luis. She wrapped her arms around his neck and began to play with the hair at the base of his neck.

Luis smiled with relief and pulled Sheridan to him in a kiss. He only meant for it to bed a short kiss but as soon as he tasted her sweet lips he forgot. He moaned and Sheridan took that opportunity to slip her tongue into his mouth. Their tongues battled meeting each other stroke for stroke. Luis slid his arms tighter around Sheridan's waist pulling her onto his lap. She was now straddling him, her center pressed against his hardening length. He let his hands wander up and down her back as he continued to kiss her.

Sheridan deepened the kiss even more and gently raked her nails across his back. Luis left her lips and gently brushed kisses down her jaw line to her neck. Sheridan tilted her head giving Luis better access. She moaned as she felt his tongue caress her soft skin. He continued to plant kisses along her shoulder and slowly he moved lower down her chest. Sheridan arched towards him as she felt him latch onto her left breast. He gently nipped her nipple then soothed it with his tongue. He began to suck gently then with more passion. He continued his torture on her until she hardened beneath his touch. He then moved to her right breast and repeated the process.

Sheridan moaned and laced her fingers in Luis's hair pulling him closer to her. All bad aches and pains were gone from her mind while the only thing left in her mind was the ache that Luis was giving her. She brought him back up to her mouth and crushed her against his in a heated kiss. She pulled him close pressing her bare chest against him. Upon hearing him groan her name she trailed kiss down his neck and to his chest. The then returned the favor to Luis and began to nip and tease his nipples. She kissed her way back up to his neck and ended her trail at his mouth. They kissed each other with a fire that could only be extinguished by each other. As Sheridan felt the pressure begin to build up inside of her and she moaned loudly.

When Luis heard Sheridan moan he knew that she was almost there. He again kissed her neck then positioned himself to take her inside. He filled her with one swift movement then began to move inside her. Sheridan quickly found the rhythm and met his every move. Luis felt her tighten as she went over the edge and into the stars. As soon as she came back down he began to move inside of her again. Sheridan dug her nails into his back and he winced. He continued to move in her and once again she tumbled over the edge into ecstasy. As she floated back down to earth he began to move in her again. This time when she began to orgasm he went with her, filling her completely. Both breathing hard the clung to each other in wonder.

"Wow." Sheridan panted. "I didn't know I could feel sure extreme pleasure."

"I was supposed to he helping you to relieve some tension." He said looking into her sparkling blue eyes. "Did it work?"

"Good." Luis said as he removed himself from her. He gently kissed her and together they stood up and climbed out of the tub. Luis wrapped a towel around his waist and then one around Sheridan. He picked her up and carried her into the bedroom. He gently set her down on the bed then sat down behind her and began to massage away the tension in her shoulders.

"Umm, that feels good." Sheridan moaned leaning into his hands. Luis removed his hands and immediately replaced them with his mouth. He began to gently trail kissed across her shoulders and the top of her back.

Chapter 16

"Umm, that feels good." Sheridan moaned leaning into his hands. Luis removed his hands and immediately replaced them with his mouth. He began to gently trail kissed across her shoulders and the top of her back.

"Lay on your stomach." Luis said. Sheridan obliged and slowly stretched out. Luis unloosened the knot on Sheridan's towel and removed it from her body. He placed his hands on her lower back and began to message her muscles. He slowly worked his way up kneading away her tension.

"I'll be right back." Luis said standing up. He walked into the bathroom and returned with some vanilla scented body lotion. He squirted some into his hands and returned to messaging her. He lotioned her back and moved down to her legs then feet. He gently rolled her over and she looked up at him with her sparkling blue eyes. Luis sat back on his heels and admired her naked body.

"Enjoying the view?" Sheridan asked in a throaty voice. Just seeing Luis's eyes rake over her body was causing her to ache again.

Luis smiled and leaned in to kiss Sheridan. "I always enjoy the view." Luis said settling his lips on hers. He gave her a gentle but passionate kiss and sat back up. He squirted some more lotion into his hands and he began to rub it into her stomach. His hands slowly crept up to massage lotion onto her breasts. Luis smiled as Sheridan closed her eyes and arched her back into his hands. He could feel her breasts hardening in his hands. He moved from her breasts and lotioned her arms.

Sheridan opened her eyes and looked up at him with a hooded look. Luis just smiled at her and replaced the cap on the lotion bottle.

"Feel better?" Luis asked setting the bottle on the nightstand.

"Almost." Sheridan said with a shy smile. "You missed one spot though."

"Oh?" Luis said sitting on the bed next to her. "And where might that spot be?"

Sheridan grinned and reached up to pull Luis's head to her. As she kissed him she unknotted his towel and slid it from around his waist. Luis broke the kiss and trailed soft sweet kisses down her neck. He stretched his body out and laid down next to her. Sheridan moaned and held his head closer as Luis began too move downward to her chest. He latched onto her right breast and began to suck on her already hardened peak.

"Oh Luis." Sheridan moaned arching her back off the bed. She raked her nails across his back as he moved to the other breast and gave it the same treatment. Sheridan pulled Luis back up to her and engulfed him in a kiss. Luis gently outlined her mouth with his tongue and Sheridan opened her mouth to receive him. Luis's tongue darted into her mouth and Sheridan began to suck on his tongue. Luis groaned and rolled over onto his back and settled Sheridan on his stomach. Their tongues still dueling Luis positioned himself to enter her. Sheridan thrust down and Luis filled her completely. When they broke their kiss for air Luis began to move with in her.

"I love you Sheridan Crane." Luis said breathless.

"I love you more Luis Lopez Fitzgerald." Sheridan said capturing his lips again in a soul-connecting kiss.

Luis felt Sheridan begin to tighten around him as she began to go over the edge. He moved faster and they flew up to the stars together. As they floated back to the earth together Sheridan looked Luis in the eyes.

"Thank you for taking care of me." Sheridan said.

"Anytime Baby." Luis said giving her a peck on the lips. "Anytime."

Sheridan laid her head on his chest and they fell asleep still connected.

When Luis woke up in the morning he saw Sheridan's amused face looking down at him.

"Feeling a little sore?" Sheridan asked. She sat up and gently removed herself from him. Luis winced a little and pulled Sheridan down next to him on the bed.

"My back hurts the most." Luis said quietly. "How are you this morning?" Luis asked pressing a kiss to her forehead.

"I'm much better thanks to you." Sheridan said. "What happened to your back?"

"Well, a certain sexy blonde, who shall remain nameless, decided to use me as a scratching post when I was making love to her." Luis said shifting into a more comfortable position.

Sheridan sat up and gently rolled him over. His back was covered in deep red welts. Sheridan gently traced a long one with her finger and smiled sheepishly.

"I am so sorry Luis. I had no idea I was doing that to you." Sheridan said frowning. Luis rolled back over and looked at her sad face.

"Aww Baby." Luis said pulling her into a kiss. "I would do it all over again if it meant feeling this close to you." Luis said sincerely. Sheridan smiled and kissed him again.

"No wonder I love you so much." Sheridan said standing up. "I'm going to go take a quick shower. Care to join me?"

"I would love to, but I think that I'm going to go make breakfast instead." Luis said sitting up.

"That's probably wise." Sheridan laughed. Luis watched her naked body disappear into the bathroom as he stood up. He stretched his stiff muscles and pulled on his boxers and a pair of jeans. On his way to the kitchen there was a knock on the front door. Luis detoured past the couch and went to open the door. He found his mother standing on the other side of the door with a platter of food.

"Morning Mama." Luis said kissing her on the cheek and taking the platter from her.

"Morning Mijo." Pilar said closing the door behind her. She watched Luis walk over to the coffee table and set the tray down. "I thought that you and Sheridan might like some food after yesterday's events. What happened to your back Mijo? It's covered in scratches."

Luis started to blush. "Umm, well." He started. Sheridan walked into the living room just before he had to answer.

"Morning Pilar." Sheridan said with a big smile. Luis slipped out of the room and returned a few moments later in a navy button down shirt. The top two buttons were left open exposing a peek of his muscled chest.

"Sheridan, how are you feeling Mija?" Pilar said giving her a hug.

"I'm feeling much better Pilar. You're son was the best doctor last night." Sheridan said giving Luis a gentle smile.

"I'm sure he was. I was just asking him what happened to his back. Did you know that his back is covered in scratches?" Pilar said with a worried look on her face.

"Really?" Sheridan said looking at Luis for help. Luis began to blush again and shrugged.

"Oh my." Pilar said as the situation started to sink in. She started to blush herself. "Umm nevermind. I think that I understand� Umm well, I better get back to the main house." She said standing up.

"Bye Mama." Luis said giving her another kiss on the cheek.

"Bye Son, bye Sheridan. Have a nice day." Pilar responded.

"Bye Pilar." Sheridan said. When the door closed behind her both Sheridan and Luis burst out into laughter.

"I thought that I was going to have to explain to my mother about those scratches." Luis said gasping for air.

"Me too. I'm so sorry Luis." Sheridan said with tears of laughter streaming down her face.

They collapsed onto the couch and howled with laughter.
