BADDIES

These are the bad guys, that everyone lloves to hate, and they represent the possible evil that could creep into our hearts if we were suddenly given great power.

Apocalypse

My personal favourite character, Apocalypse kicks ass.  Two thousand years ago, in Ancient Egypt, the world's first mutant was born -
a being destined to become the greatest villain known to time.  Originally a slave boy known as
En Sabah Nur, Apocalypse soon became master of his realm.
Apocalypse is immortal, but has to regenerate himself every century, in a giant solar power collector known as a Lazarus Chamber.  Using his mutant ability to increase
his size, mass and power to amazing levels,
Apocalypse plans to command and conquer every square inch of the universe, as many of his counterparts from alternate realities already have.
To find out more about how the boy called
En Sabah Nur became the ageless conqueror Apocalypse read `The Rise of Apocalypse' Limited series of comics by Adam Pollina.  In the word's of Cable
`Apocalypse is pure evil, and he must be stopped'.  In the words of SHUG `
Apocalypse Rocks, and will soon crush all who oppose him!'

Ozymandias

Made entirely of stone, Ozymandias is one of Apocalypses most powerful minions.  Given time he can transorm any living being to stone.  He is both blessed and cursed with eternal life.  He also has limited psionic powers and can fire a blast of psychic fire from the fire ruby set in his forehead.  For all of this power Ozymandias is nothing when compared with the power and fury of The Apocalypse.

Bastion

Little is known of the man who calls himself Bastion, save that he has one goal in life, an objective he pursues with the strength of a fanatic: to protect humanity from mutantkind - at any cost.  As the leader of Operation: Zero Tolerance, he has garnered support within governments across the globe.

Kuragari

The self-styled Shogun of the Shadows, Kuragari is a master of deceit and death.  His ruthless murder of Tar reveals him to be both cold-blooded and deadly, and his rise to power in the realm of the Crimson Dawn may very well be the bloody pre-amble to universal domination.

Prime Sentinels: Nimrod Battalion

These mutant-hunters are part man, mostly machine.  They were created by Bastion's Operation : Zero Tolerance forces and there is rumour that Bastion created them himself.  They can hide inside the body of a human, regenerate themselves after an attack, shoot bio-blasts from their palms, fire a wide-band annihilation beam, levitate and identify mutants, and their genetic backgrounds.  They are also impervious to all mutant attacks, though they can be halted - usually only temporarily - by freezing them, or filling them with holes from a good old shotgun.

Mr. Sinister

An evil mutant by nature, Mr. Sinister often kidnaps other mutants.  He has the strange hobbie of stealing genetic material from other mutants and using them to create forces of his own.  On more than one occasion he has succeeded in capturing Scott Summers and Jean Grey, in a desperate bid to create a force of mutants similar in nature to either Nate Grey, or Nathaniel Summers, that are under his control.  Arclight and Scalphunter are his two best creations, and he had cloned each of them thiry-nine times, creating a small mutant army.  Unfortunately for him, during the Onslaught storyline, all were killed in a massive psionic explosion caused by Onslaught himself.  For all his bad deeds, Sinister has twice allied with the forces of good, once during the Phalanx invasion, and once more recently during the Onslaught saga.
