MOOD: worn out a little

Yeah, skiing, that was awesome. On Jan 1st, i went to Eldora in Colorado and skiied, that was my first time, and thats when i decided: The next time i go skiing, i go for the (drumroll) black diamond!!! Actually this time, today, when i went up to Sunday River in Maine (AWESOME PLACE, 8 PEAKS i tell ya, EIGHT!!) My goal seriously was to just get down blue slopes and not have any problems (goal achieved of course).

So then when i had a half hour left, before i had to catch the buses, i see this one black diamond, and i think to myself, "Shuffles, why not just go down that way. I mean seriously, how hard could it be?" I must have been an idiot for suggesting that or listening to myself.. So it started out pretty well, but then it started to slope massively downward, then came the moguls (ugh).. So basically, i fell about 90% of the way down the mountain, with brief periods of stopping and shaky restarting, and going up sometimes to get a lost ski pole,

but near the end i got up a little, but that was only cause it turned into a blue slope from there, and i got snow all in my shirt, it was fun!! This Maine resort is very good, i hope to get to go back, one of these days.
