2:02 pm MUSIC: We're All Dudes (Ed and Less Than Jake)

Well today was cool. I got up at like 8am and lounged around, like until nine, watching whatever junk was on TV, and taking in the peace while everyone was asleep. Then sometime around ten, i got bored so i took the bike out and headed north; i went like 2 miles or so, and scoped out what kind of houses there were, and tried to get ice cream at the one place we've been going to, but they didn't open until one. It was really hot out, like eighties i bet. Maybe that isn't so hot, but my bike was stuck in third and seventh gear, so i had to huff it the whole way up the road. That road is terrible to cross! There almost isn't ever any clearing of traffic. But i finally did, and scoped out all the shops on the West side of the road, like the mechanic's and realtors and winerys and watersports stores and seafood restaurants, no dance halls! no lazer tag, no ballparks! at least none in Avon. So, i just went to Subway, got a 3 dollar sandwich, then i went to the bike parts place, and the headlamps are more than i'd like to pay for so ya know, i went home.

So i got home and just sorta had a little lunch, then we played Farkle, this game you play using 6 dice. Pretty fun when you get everyone playing; it gets unbalanced, though, if you have people that push their luck too much or not enough. We all had fun, yo.

Now we're packing, sorta, cause we leave tomorrow at ten in the morning, and i haven't packed; i also haven't unpacked. It's gonna be that way practically all summer, hopping all around, living out of boxes. Apparantly in Colorado, we're going to the Grand Canyon! That will add a coffee mug or two to my collection :-D
