MUSIC: 99 Red Balloons

Today I journeyed to a campground, where an activities director had set up an obstacle course, and somehow or other he convinced me to run it, but it was littered with traps and danger; i made it into a building on the far side, whereupon i slammed the door behind me and caught my breath. Taking in my surroundings, i realized this was a large building filled with halls and turns, dimly lit with bad flourescent bulbs, walled on the exterior with whitewashed cement block.

A team of rogues, presumably others that had narrowly escaped the obstacle course, rushed upon me and handed me a bit of yellow mushy stretchy flubbery stuff. It was about a quart of goo, that i was entrusted to care for, and we sought our escape together. The goo, as i recall, made snapping noises like chewing gun if you folded and squeezed it right. Finally we made it to the opposite exit, and we stumbled out into a blinding snowstorm. The leader gave me his quart of goo, so that i had a double portion, and he rushed headlong into the storm... i summoned the team and we followed his vanishing tracks, which led to a parking lot, full of their cars; their goo was frozen and useless, so they left it, and i bade them all farewell.

Thus did i come to this, my present spot in the rafters of the garage, holding my frozen goo, being attacked from time to time by various large stinging insects, some up to two feet in wingspan, all of them very elusive. I have managed to kill a few with an old wooden plank. Night is falling; i am getting sleepy..

Well, there's not much to be said about today so far. I just got up, there's pool going on, and Dad and Vicki are reserving houses on the beachfront for the church vacation next summer. There's no plans for travel today, just a nice day on the beach. At 3 i think they're calling for low tide, and a high tide at nine. Generally.

Went to the Sound, after playing Dave's billiards game for points. Each stroke gives you one point, and you must sink the balls in order from one to fifteen, and finally sink the cue ball. Each ball you sink in the correct order takes away points equal to the value of the ball (cue ball is worth 16), and every ball sunk out of turn adds that many points (scratches are worth 1). Of course, points are bad, like in golf. I got a -40. Your final score is your highest amount of points, plus your lowest amount of points, plus the final points. I think the best possible score is -120, using 16 strokes. If you can do it all in one stroke, you get -135. :P

I got stung by a jellyfish at the sound, on the arm and belly, while playing football. It's alright, it just bugged me like hell. Then we went for Ice cream.. I got Ben + Jerry's Chunky Monkey, Vicki got Chocolate and COffee!! Wow, amazing, she's branching out!! We rented some movies cause Dad and Vicki are going out, today is their 5 month anniversary or something :P So.. off i go to play another game. Cheers!
