"It's all talk and no trousers!"
- complained one congressman in the British House of Commons, about the deadlock on wether to adopt the Euro or not, today on C-Span
"Even the chips are cheaper in Germany!"
- observed another congressman, commenting on the supremacy of the Euro over the Pound Sterling.
So, here I am eating Raisin Bran on the sofa, and, Dawson's Creek is on the Superstation. Ok, this is why i don't watch TV. I'm not sure why at all, but this, despite being mildly amusing, watching some drunk chicks fall into a river, and aww, really sweet, brother and sister getting hooked up dancing, hmm.. maybe they're NOT bro. and sis.?? See i haven't followed this show at all. Honest mistake. Despite being mildly entertaining, it's sort of wishy washy and fake and I could sit here for so long watching it and my brain would implode from decay. Sitcoms, bah, they never end. Oh no, Abby's dead! Friggin' soap.

Ulster Unionist Party ... Labor Party ... Conservative Party ... Liberal Democrats Party ... and of course the prestigious Gordon Brown: Chancellor of the Exchequer!
It seems to me that everyone has got some figures to back up their side.. The liberals use the 5 tests as their benchmark for joining; apparantly it was ok that they didn't join in '99.. Hmm. I got to keep up with this stuff; I musta been watching this crap for like an hour. Now they switched it to a thing Bush said earlier today, combined with a splurge from a U.S. House Meeting. C-Spam is the coolest channel, you get to watch the British House of Commons get all riled up and almost get into a riot over things :P
12:34 pm
go hang a salami, i'm a lasagna hog!
Dave's listening to Weird Al, and we're just about ready to go to Ocracoke Isle. By Ferry. Everyone was just out to Ace and Food Lion getting various things; sandals, drinks, who knows what else. I wanna get to the bike shop and get lights for my bike back home, maybe then i can ride @ night. Maybe some pedal-powered capacitor lights. Have they invented those yet? No se. Now Tom is popping Alka-Seltzer Tabs, oh boy :D what next. Tom's never gonna grow up; not that that's a bad thing..,

Went south, took the Ferry to Ocracoke Island today. Got me a Hatteras Island coffee mug! The ferry was cool; there was 4 or so dozen sea gulls following our ferry the whole time, so we broke out the Cheez-its, and the gulls snatched them outta our hands when we offered them, and they could even catch them out of the air as well.
At the city Ocracoke we stopped at this ice cream place, and I got strawberry italian ice; mistake of my life! I shoulda definitely gotten the regular old ice cream. It was so much better. It was hot today! I don't remember being quite so warm; it was about seventy all day at least, it felt like. We almost wanted to rent bikes, but, no, that woulda been dumb. Cause Ocracoke is just a tourist town, there's nowhere of interest to visit, except of course the lighthouse, and even that I'm not too big into, but there WAS this little family cemetery off in the glade and foresty area. What if there were still GHOSTS around!! That was an exciting idea.
After seeing the lighthouse we charaded down to the south end to where some historical site was, that Pam and Dad wanted to see, so me and Keith and Tom and eventually Dave went to the Visitor's Center and got free maps of N. Carolina, and I got a strawberry Fruitopia (ugh, them things leave a bad taste.) and eventually after wandering over piers and shores, we came to this large marble memorial stone slab, memorializing the Civil War's Fort Ocracoke, which was sunk into the Sound, early in the 20th century by rising waters and was not found again until 1998, when some Company of Professional Divers discovered its location on a tip from an old sea captain. I tell ya, those ancient mariners sure have a ton of secrets! Dave said he wants to be an old sea boat captain when he gets old, so he can sit in old shantys and taverns, in dark corners, and disclose old forgotten secrets to meddling young adventurers. Hehe, poor kid doesn't even know any secrets, what's he talking about!? :P
So later, we had Sloppy Joes for dinner, then Pam and I went hunting for Dave and Keith. Boy is it foggy! Really really really really foggy, enough so it even foggs my glasses and i'm better off without them. But at night, you know, it doesn't matter if i wear 'em or not. Then we watched this amusing Christian movie on TBN about this girl and her grandfather, running from the mafia, and she gets saved... the grandpa is funny like heck, i like him. Ok, it's night, apparantly we're getting up at 5 tomorrow to see the sunrise. Phew, oka-a-ay, riight. Get me up that early, and you win the award.
Oh, i didn't make any progress figuring out the Bezier Curve. It's difficult without assistance of a calculator; I'm starting to think it may be an irrational function. Oh well, I'll check the internet for the answers, when i can. Peace.
Hey, maybe you can do Bezier Curves for values other than 1/2. I'll have to remember that..
