It has been several days... In a dream, i thought of a cure to scoptic sensitivity syndrome, which was sort of strange, since i dreamt of a trip to a water park.
After hours of travel today, I came to a house out there, which seemed to be infested with various-shaped lava creatures. I was briefed by the inhabitants of their unstable metabolic nature; this is the story: The creatures grow to monstrous proportions under the influence of the presence of water. I was skeptical of this; and after some time their heat became somewhat discomfortable, and seeing the damage they could possibly inflict, I snuck around back to get a large spray-hose. I hoped they would be hardened by the cooling effect of large volumes of water, but as experience proved (and as the native predicted), they merged to form a cohesive whole, which grew to an immense six acres of huge lava beast.
Several natives were promptly swallowed by the amorphous, ameoba-like monstrosity, and i was soon to follow them. Its intestines glowed, but not with intense heat, as long as one did not stay in one place for any length of time. I dove and wove around the foldind and collapsing folds of molten beast, and would have been crushed in the convolutions, but i have easily dodged harder obstacles than this. I came to the outside of the beast, and ran and hid; nearly broken, i nearly collapsed in exhaustion. Later, I assumed the monster had solidified to death, and became unable to maintain its own heat, so necessary for its motion.
