Project 3 - done!
music: Grant playing "Crazy Times" on the guitar next door

Project 3 was to build a Threaded Binary Search Tree. It's a well-balanced ordering mechanism that's apparantly the easiest structure for the computer to use, if it's trying to sort things in memory. Dude, i'm done. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT, I'M DONE!!! And i got up to maybe a 90% on it!!! Do i rule the world, or do i rule the world, now? Lemme do a little dance ...

So while i was crunching my brain in yesterday, sometime during the day Robbie from High school IMed me, and gave me the address of his blog. It's The Raging Kiltsman, or The Mutant Leprechaun. And Drew Hall is getting a free advertising spot next chapel, when Matt Ford speaks. I got to see if i can get to his church, it's called Pilgrim Church. I have to check it out, cause i've heard all these different things about it. It's supposed to be modeled really first-centurily, and i've heard it's got a good community ministry, but i've also heard it also ministers to you personally, quote unquote. So i dunno, it's something i'll have to check out next sunday. This sunday i was too busy, i didn't go. It was a bad weekend in general, to be me. If you could pick a day to be me, pick like my ninth birthday, or something bygone like that. I dunno.

I think i'm just tired. I couldn't focus in chapel today. It's beautiful outside, though. I have 2 labs tomorrow, though.. Nothing is as ominous as two labs.. one of which is supposedly too long to fit into the three-hour period. I need some Reeses' Cups. I miss those. I also miss Sheetz convenience stores from back home. I wanna Schmuffin.

Which reminds me, Stephen won't be coming home for easter! Dagnab that kid.. Running off to Pensacola, to smoke and drink and chew and philander, and probably launder money, when i'm stuck up here in this frozen wasteland..

Did i mention it's a beautiful day? :-P

And Pap Miller is a great-grandfather! Check it out here, and go to week 1, pic31.jpg. Dude, that's so wild. The circle of life, man. Check out pic32.jpg, it's Chris Miller the father, and pic28.pjg, it's Stacy the mother. Haha, i bet calling them "father" and "mother" makes 'em feel old. And pic38.jpg, it's Jones, the child's keeper and guardian. Dude, that cat is so cool. You know i bet Pap Miller remembers when he was that age.

B-Trees

Next on my neverending agenda is Project 4: B-Trees. B-Trees are a structure like a Threaded Binary Search Tree (see above) except they're built really shallow and really wide, so they're good for sorting things out on disk, rather than in memory. :) They say this project is the minor-maker. They say people quit the major because of THIS PROJECT!

Well bring it on, suckah.
