times like this i get to thinking. sometimes i think about life in general, but that never lasts long. my mind flies all over and here and there, and places and memories present themselves to me for review. I sit back in my easy chair, and as i write out this nice carmel-colored page, i am reminded of lots of the good times i've had here at Gordon. Let's go one a tour, a walk through memory lane, shall we? we shall.

September, 2002: boy, those were the days. Life was so much simpler then. Back then, i still had open hall priviledges, and i used them from time to time. Back when i was still getting to know the girls on my floor, and i still thought Hailey and Megan were the weirdest pair of girls around. The superlative aspect of that impression was short-lived, but i'm thinkin the weird part still applies, hehe.. they're sort of like getting used to Alisha and Erin, only not so much, cause well, we won't talk about how rowdy Lish and Erin are all the time. But also weird during the first month or so, actually it must have been week or so, was that i couldnt distinguish between Nate and Alec, dunno why, but they just looked the same when i first met them. I had the same trouble the first week of knowing Gareth and Cedric, if i recall, and if memory serves, people had the same trouble with myself and Dave at boy scouts :-P Yeah, faces are tricky when you're the new guy in a crowd of a thousand, they come at you all at once. It's like, dodge some, catch some, throw some back, kick some, like a game of dodgeball you know? It's so similar.

October 2002 Was when i first started having friends that i still hang around with today. No wait that can't be true, cause by my birthday i had people harrassing me already.. i think i just put that date as the header cause it looked good with "September 2002" up above. Well, September and basically August is when i met people like Elo, and all of Jenn's friends such as Katie and Linds and Beth, and Cole and Andrew, and Brendan and Alissa, and Chelsea, and various other people.. October.. That was the month when my birthday was, boy was that cool. That was the month of the care package :-P Aunt Kathy and Uncle Bill are cool, i wish they could get up here once in a while.

I think I'll go on a bike ride. I think i'll go .. what the heck, to singing beach. Can't take too long. This night air also should be cool. I'll bundle up, wear an orange shirt.
