Competition Rules

Required application materials:

  1. Evidence of outstanding scholarship; one copy, printed on one side only, without covers or binders. This could be in the form of an actual example of written scholarship such as a research paper. It also could be artistic, musical, or other creative work for which other media may substitute for or supplement a written product; however, a written explanation demonstrating a scholarly understanding of the work must also be included. Written work must be typed, without grade or comments. If the work represents a cooperative project, both the applicant and the faculty or professional director of the project must specifically delineate the applicant's contribution; if this is not done, the entry will be disqualified.
