The line this past year(2001) was fantastic. Our show in 2001 was "The Sound of Music Our Way." The music was really interesting. Matt Krempasky, writer and co-director, decided to take "The Sound of Music" standards and give them a jazzy twist. "My Favorite Things" was in 5/4 and "Do-Re-Me" was in 7/8. The music was challenging, especially the drumline parts. JR Thompson, Drumline writer and co-director, wrote some very cool parts, perfect for the music.
