Class Update, November 1999

New Listings
 We found Toni Lamoureux! Actually, it was the internet and a family friend that did it. The Sharon Herald had a 1999 Class Reunions Web page at http://www.sharon-herald.com/schools/99schools/99reunions.html which included the following: "The Sharon High School Class of '58 maintains a wonderfully thorough reunion/alumni page at..." (and then the Herald has a link to our Web site.) A friend of the Lamoureux family (the son of the late Dr. Dale Rice) followed the link, saw from our Web site that Toni was missing, remembered who Toni had married, contacted Jim Ingram, and eventually the two of them identified an address and telephone number. Jim surprised Toni by calling her on Saturday, November 6, 2000, to tell her she was missing. Much to his surprise Toni informed him that she and her sister Teri, as well as their mother, are all living in southern California! Toni and husband Jess Thomas were married in Boston in 1963, and have lived in Agoura Hills since 1973. They have two grown children, a daughter (Brady) and a son (Ivor), and, according to Toni, one granddog and one grandcat. Here's their address:

Classmate Dolly (Snyderwine) Loftus attended school in Sharon until the summer before our junior year, when her family moved to Sharpsville. She graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1958, and then eloped and ended up in Tucson. Her first marriage lasted 17 years, and produced 3 children, but ended in divorce. After five years she married husband Gary Loftus and has since finished college, become an English teacher, and now works with Gary in his land surveying business. They enjoy boating and motorhoming. Overheard at Deneen's....
 Nancy (Otte) Bailey is looking for some classmates to take an Alaska cruise with her in either May or September 2000. She has dates, prices, and all the other information. Call or e-mail her if you're interested.
We have the 20th and 25th class reunion photos on our Web site, but Skip Smith remembered attending a 10th reunion. What happened to the photo? Lew Thompson said there was a 10th reunion, at the Oak Tree Country Club, but that the photographer took off with the money and never delivered the photographs! If anyone has a group photo from that reunion please us know.

 E-mail Address Changes. If you know of a classmate who has e-mail but whose address is not included on our class list, please let Jim Ingram know so he can add the address to our class list.
 "Mini-Reunions". Check out the 1999 Mini-Reunion Photos. Whenever you get together with a classmate, take a photo and send it (electronically or hard copy) to Jim Ingram so it can be included.
