My name is Rick DeCecco I live with my  wife, daughter and  son in Lansdowne, Ontario. I have spent the past couple of years  working on any 3D app I could get my hands on, everyday and night to my wifes annoyance.

I AM ADDICTED!! For me it's the perfect blend of sculpture, drawing, and photography. Since all of my previous art experience was in these fields, I feel perfectly at home with the concepts.  I researched the various applications on the market and found an excellent package at a reasonable price. Hash Animation Master, it can do what the pricier applications can, and best of all it is a joy to work with. Modeling and animating in this package is a dream.
Ive done work in Am 2000, Max, Rhino, Bryce, and Lightwave, I texture with Photoshop. I have found that the best-input devices for this work have been a large trackball mouse and an art tablet. Wacoms lower-end tablets are an affordable solution for any aspiring artist. The best magazine resource out there  appears to be the British mag 3D World it may be expensive here in North America but every issue is worth the cover price. From modeling tutorials, to the latest software, this mag has it all. Its to the point and very well organized.

I welcome contact with others who share a passion for 3D.
                              Thanks for comin' by.
Animation Master comes with a pair of 3D glasses in the box. You know the old red and blue ones with the plastic lenses. I guess it's sort of a gimmicy thing, but the effect is really coool !! I'm gonna post a couple of stills just for fun, if anyone happens to have a pair of 3D glasses check'em out in WIP
UPDATED May 2008.
I think I'm going through a second childhood, or at least I'm getting nostalgic for those great Gerry Anderson Dinky toys of the 60's & 70's. I found a Shado Mobile at a local thrift shop, and now I'm buying them off Ebay, [when I can get one for a reasonable price.]
