The incredible shrinking tape!!!

This may be one of my favourite pages on my site! Already, I've seen amazing changes in my tape measure - it's shrinking! And my clothes are starting to loosen,  how unbelievable...

Week 1, Tuesday, 8th of January, 2002:
Neck: 33cm                          Hips:103cm  
Upper arm: 30.5cm              Upper thigh:62cm
Chest: 97.5cm                     Calf: 36cm
Waist: 84cm                         Weight: 64.5kg

Week 2, Tuesday, 15th of January, 2002:
Neck: 32.5cm                       Hips: 101cm                      Weight: 63.5kg
Upper arm: 30cm                 Upper thigh: 56.5cm          Total weight lost: 1kg
Chest: 94cm                        Calf: 34cm
Waist: 81.5cm                      Total cm loss: 17.5cm

Omigod, can you believe it? This is definitely gonna be a major motivator in my weight loss!! After all, I plan in getting INTO my old jeans, not STANDING on 'em! Scales are great, but nothing tops this for me...
Week 3, Tuesday, 22nd of January, 2002:
Neck: 31.5cm                           Hips: 99cm                         Weight: 62.2kg
Upper arm: 28.5cm                  Upper thigh: 56cm              Total weight lost: 2.2kg!!!
Chest: 94cm                            Calf: 33.5cm
Waist: 81cm                            Total cm loss: 24cm

Ok, not as good as last week, but pretty good considering I thought I'd have put it all back on with the crappy week I've had! This week, the scales have shown more change than the tape measure, probably due to my inability to exercise as much. Either way, I'm happy with such a great result after such a tough week.

Week 5, Friday, 8th of February, 2002:
Neck: 31.5cm                            Hips:99.5cm                      Weight: 62.4kg
Upper arm: 28.5cm                   Upper thigh: 56.5cm          Total weight lost: 2.1kg
Chest: 91cm                             Calf: 34.5cm
Waist: 81.5cm                          Total cm loss: 22.5cm

Keep in mind that this is reflective of the fact that I was off the program for roughly a week, so I'm actually thrilled that although I have put a little  on, overall, I didn't do too much damage. Just goes to show, if you fall off the horse, the quicker you get back on, the easier it is!
Week Six, Friday, 15th of February, 2002:
Neck:  31.5cm                            Hips:   96.5cm                      Weight: 61.7kg
Upper arm:   28cm                     Upper thigh:  55cm              Total weight lost: 2.8kg
Chest:   91cm                            Calf: 33cm
Waist:  78.5cm                           Total cm loss: 32.5cm

I'm very happy with this result, and it makes me realise, if I put in my best effort, the results can only be better than this fantastic result! Couldn't be happier with my hips and waist (but I'm  sure I will be in weeks to come!). I'm not surprised about no loss in the boobs, I've just had my period and I always get very heavy in this area. I can't wait til I lose a lot more off the breasts, as I think their weight is causing a lot of strain on my shoulders and neck, thus worsening my migraine problem...Stay tuned for next week's installment! (I often do this page the night before weigh-in)

Neck: 31.5cm                             Hips: 96cm                             Weight: 61.4kg
Upper arm: 28cm                       Upper thigh: 54.5cm               Total weight lost: 3.1kg
Chest: 91cm                              Calf: 34cm
Waist: 78cm                              Total cm lost: 34cm
Not bad. Will exercise more. Short and sweet, lol!
