| Pump up the volume Seth's wonderfull 3 minete performance in this movie, completely rasies it above in my best movies of all time list. The basic story is that Christian Slater runs an illegal radio station, under the alias of Hard Harry Hardon. A play on the initials of his school. Seth plays a kid called Joey. Joey has made a ,ix-tape of Hard Harry's show and fixes it so it plays on the PA system of the school. It's very funny, one of the better moments of the film in fact. Christian Slater truly has us captivated as he tries to fill the lives of fellow peers. Altough the film has a weak ending which is completely anti-climaxal, the film has a really good overall theme. I have it on video and the soundtrack is excellent. It's worth watching if only to see slaters fake log-flogging. Which he does over the radio with a golf stick and a pillow. I give this movie a cool 8 out of 10. |
