| Dal� first met Gala �luard in 1929, when she visited Cadaqu�s in the summer with her husband, the French poet Paul �luard. She became Dal�s lover, his muse, and inspiration, when he seduced her, leading to a break with his father. The model for the following two paintings was Gala. |
