| Journal 2/17/04 Well I will not try to bore anyone with this journal. I'm just using it as another outlet to let you know how things are coming along with the band and the c.d. We practiced the other night at church and the youth group let us break in their new P.A. for them. It rocked. I was off alittle on my playing. I was having trouble hearing everyone. A guy had taken off with my ear monitor and I could not hear well. We must have sounded pretty good because it took me almost an hour to leave because people were telling us how good we sounded! Four songs are written for the c.d. and I am writing another one that is real progressive. It is sort of in the style of Dream Theater. We also have two more songs another person has written, so things are really picking up steam! Gotta go! Take care! Journal 3/17/04 Boy! Things are heating up around here! We have been auditionong people for the bass player spot in the band. We have a real good prospect coming upi this week, so pray everything will turn out! We have been working on our originals and we have several covers we are working on. We are trying to get things done on the c.d. I am taking a few weeks off from work soon to finish up the c.d. so pray all goes well. I've been chillin' alittle bit more here lately and it has improved my playing. I guess I need more rest than I thought! Well I gotta go! Take care! |
