born on November 16 1952 in Sonebe, Japan. in his childhood miyamoto spent his time exploring the the world around him. one of the things that he found on his explorations was the opening to a cave. as he was growing up he wanted to make something that would astonish the world, he didn't care what it was as long as he could share it with others. he went to the Kanazawa Munici College of Industrial Arts and Crafts, and spent five years there. through his father he contacted Hiroshi Yamauchi, the owner of unintended. after showing him some of his ideas he was hired as Nintendo's first staff artist.

in 1980 Hiroshi Yamauchi decided that he wanted to bring nintendo into the videogame market. he went to miyamoto and asked if he wanted to dsign it,( he was more than happy to accept his offer). the game he created was donkey kong. this game was an instant sucess. he later came out with the popular games super mario brothers and the legend of zelda, these game cemented his name in the videogame market. |

he is currently the general manager of nintendo entertainment analasis and design. the direction he currently want to take his games is, (instead of long games with fancy grafics), he want to create games that are innovative and that everyone can enjoy. he is currently working on the newest zelda game twilight princess. he is currently married and has two children. |
