Dusk

"When there is no more room in Hell, the dead will walk the Earth." -Dawn of the Dead.
This is a first for me. Dusk is an online novel heavily based on George Romero's Living Dead series. I will release a new chapter whenever I get the chance. Again, this is my first online novel and so far it has been a fun experience. If you like the story or have any suggestions, feel free to email me.

Summary:

Since 1979, the dead have been rising from their graves and eating the flesh of the living. It is now June in 2001, and what's left of humanity is hiding out in makeshift fortresses and scavenging for food. It has become a way of life. The old life only exists as a fond memory, but all of that is about to change.

Late night, a colony gets a radio message about a possable cure. The end may be near, but for whom.
