10-5-06- There were some bad storms during the show on Monday but it was still fun. We are playing in November at a couple of places so keep checking back. New tshirt designs will be available at the next show. 8-31-06- Many new shows are being set up. We may also be adding another member until Sean returns. Sean is leaving soon but we will still be playing shows. 7-6-06- Grovestock is coming up. Mark your calendars for July 15th at 8:00. We play at 8:00 Saturday July 15 at Fishel Park It is located on Grove St. west of Main St in Downers Grove. There will be new merch available. 5-29-06-The last two shows are over. Thanks for everyone that came out either on the 26th or the 27th. T-shirts are going fast so buy one. We might have a show at Tivoli Bowl again depending on some items in question. Also maybe a show at Moose Lodge. Maybe some others. 5-14-06- Show yesterday at Lincoln Center was fun. Come see The Shocks play at the Tivloi Bowl on the 26th. We start around 7:00 with Fast Eddy and Closet Squatters. Shirts, stickers, and cds are available for sale. Talk to us for anything. 4-25-06-New domain name, also many upcoming shows. The show on April 30th has been postponed due to some consequences. Although we do have 4 shows in May. Some free and some you got to pay. Please come check us out. We might have a show at the Moose Lodge in downers grove, but it might be 21+ show. Not sure yet, More details will come. 4-15-06-New songs are almost done and we will have have them at the next show at the end of this month. Also t shirts will be done with two different designs on black or white. April 30 at FIshel will be a free show will some other local bands. Check back 3-14-06- Working on demo, hopefully it will be mastered soon and we will have it at the next show along with shirts with two or three different designs. We are in the process of booking shows but nobody wants to help us out. Anyway if you want to help email us. 2-28-06- New songs are done. Come check us out at the Congressional church this Saturday for five bucks. But it goes to charity so come out anyway. Starts at 7 pm. 12-13-05- Still working on songs that the band doesn't hate but we wil fihish soon. As for shows none scheduled like anyone reads this anyway. If you want to book us for free just email us on the contact page. 10-30-05- Halloween show was fun. But we are holding off on anymore shows for a while to write more songs. We should be playing again in about a month. Also we have a new drummer and bass player. For more info go to band page. 10-17-05- Crazy halloween party at some kid's house with free food and no cover! To get your Shocks fix we will be playing a show this Saturday at CHaz Stammar's house @ 6. 10-11-05-Save the fish is over. Stalefish is closed and we played the closing party. If you were there then you know what happened if you weren't too bad. We are playing two upcoming shows. This Saturday at Prince Pond. Kyle Furlane's Block Party Extravaganza!! The Electric Shoes and others are playing so come check out a free show- Aaron 9-22-05-Alright we didn't get into the variety show for some reason but that doesn't matter anymore. We are writing more songs and we will be playing shows soon. 9-5-Hey we are just in the beginning stages of the website and the band. Some might know that we recently added Anthony Pery to the lineup on the keys and he is incredible (read his bio on the band page?) But we are recording very shortly with someone and the demos will coming thereafter.
