| In Loving Memory of Monanee "Mony" |
| Soon after buying our first house I realized I didn't feel safe when Gary would leave for weekend hunting/fishing trips. I needed a big dog; one that looked intimidating but wasn't overly aggressive. Our first Bullmastiff, Mony, was all that and more. To know him, was to love him. He was pet quality due to lack of mask, but in our eyes he was beautiful. He loved people and was very easy going--OK, lazy. |

Mony taught me a lot about the breed. Most importantly, he taught me to never forget that within that sweet, loving, docile lump of goo, there is a serious guard dog. They will not only be there to protect you if necessary, but they also will not tolerate any sort of challenge from another dog. |
| We lost Mony much too soon. Just after his seventh birthday he was diagnosed with brain cancer. We fought a hard battle, but he succumbed in the end. He is missed by many. |
