Afghan Specialist I have had my Hound group licence for 4 years. General specials at the SA Whippet & Greyhound Speciality 2002 (combined speciality, championship level) Have judged Dachshunds (all varieties), whippets, greyhounds, golden retrieivers and hungarian vizsla at open show level

Pomeranian breed club judges lists mostly A3 but 1 may still have me on B list. Next confirmed judging appointment is the Pomeranian Club Limited show in Jan 03 where I hope to be assessed for the A2 list.

My name is Ray Barter "SATANG" Afghan Hounds in NSW Australia. I judge the Hound Group at Championship Level. I have judged in most Australian states and have judged an Afghan Hound Speciality in Wellington New Zealand as well as a Dachshund Speciality in the same Country.

I have been involved with Afghan Hounds for 35 years.
My wife Yvonne and myself have been breeding under the "SATANG" prefix for 12 years. In this time we have bred 2 Grand Champions and a third is a whisker away, which will give us three. We will be one of only two Afghan Breeders in Australia to do this. We have also made up Grand Champion Brucehaven Dust Devil bred by Bruce and Lorraine Davies.

I also campaigned Australian Champion Taejaan Thflamingo Kid. "Leo" as he was known to his friends had 70 Best in shows and 34 Runner up Best in Shows from 124 Best in Groups.

Dogs we have bred are Gr Ch Satang Never Say Never, Gr Ch Satang Double Take and Ch Satang Inner Harmony, who is nearly a Grand Champion. These three Afghans are also Multi Best in Show winners.

We have bred and or owned dogs that have won a total of 106 Best in shows.

I have owned, shown and bred Afghan Hounds since 1972, and have been a Championship show judge in Afghans since 1985.  I also owned the Top Stud dog ever in the breed in England.  Champion Amudarya Shalar  (1973-1985)  who still holds the record for the most Champions sired in the UK.  I am also a committee member of The South Eastern Hound Club.

LINDA FISHER -Swedish Vallhunds:

I have been in the breed since 1978, and a championship show judge for the breed. At open show level I have judged German Shepherd Dogs, Boxer's and any variety not seperately classified as well as having judged utility and pastoral groups in Ireland. I am chairlady of the Swedish Vallhund Society in the U.K. also breed survey sub committee secretary and breed historian.

SOUTH AFRICA

I have judged at Championship show level in various countries and I have been passed to judge at championship level through the Kennel Club, the
F.C.I. and K.U.S.A. therefore I am classified as an International Judge.  I have also judged the Hound Group, Utility Group and, Best In Show (all breeds) .  I have owned, bred and exhibited Afghans since July 1st 1967. I have since then been placed on all of the Afghan Hound Club Championship Judges lists in Great Britain (12 clubs), I am also on the Afghan Hound Breed Council list of Great Britain.  I also passed the K.U.S.A. Hound Group examination in 1997 in South Africa.

Sighthound, Companions and toy championship show level

I have had my licence to judge since 1993, I have judge in Spain, France, Italy and a open show in U.K., several Yorkshire terrier specialities, Chinese Crested Dog national Speciality in France, Chihuahua
Specialty in France, Poodle National speciality in Spain, next appointment St Patricks Show at Dublin in IRELAND next March, to judge Afghans, Lhasa Apsos and more.

I have bred show dogs since 1979, and have get over 70 champions title in 2 continents, afghans, borzois, salukis, I.greyhounds, Spanish g., lhasa apsos, pekingeses, yorkshire t. and basenjis also shown bedlington t.,american cocker, malteses, greyhound etc, and show groomer for long time all breeds.
