King Adora at Reading

 

King Adora started the Reading weekend with a signing at Feet First, they were the same normal boys as usual, lovely, charming and adorable. Brace yourselves: the all over spikes are no more!! But don’t fret, Dan still has a mohican style line of them, so all is not lost. Robbie’s hair is back to black, but it is really quite short, Maxi and Nelsta haven’t changed a bit though.

In the bar after the signing, they were content to talk to eager fans and enjoy the music (dancing to AC/DC, Guns n Roses and Aerosmith) and free Carling that they generously shared with everyone. They spent the rest of the night hanging out with fans, friends and Crackout who had turned up early as well.

Maybe the night before had a bearing on the gig the next day because, as wonderful as King Adora are, they just didn’t have the same sparkle as everyone has come to expect, time for some new material boys? They could just have been tired, Robbie said the night before that none of them had really recovered from the trip to Japan that they had just got back from and they seemed really fatigued. Whatever the reason, they won over some new fans at Feet First and hopefully they’ll be back to full strength soon after recording the new material.
