Phantom Mission Set

In this mission set you play the role of a mercenary pilot, drifting
from place to place, flying missions for whoever'll hire you, getting
sucked into border conflicts and regional wars in your travels. I tried
to make it as realistic as I felt like, but with the limitations of FA,
I had to resort to using a custom LIB file(JKPFA_3.lib by John K.
Peterson). Nevertheless, I think that you'll find these few missions
(I'm working to make this into a campaign, these are only the first 20
out of 40 I'm hoping to complete) very fun to play, with a James Bondish
quality in every mission(Especially the mission called Emm-Bee-Tee!).
Please e-mail me with any praise, suggestions, comments or bug notices.
I hope to have the other 20 missions done soon.

****************************UPDATE 8/18/00*****************************
I have remade all the missions using John K. Peterson's .LIB Version 4.
Due to some conflicts between it and the original Version 3, I had to
remove mission 19. See below for more details. Also, I was unable to
upload this campaign with the bulky .LIB zipped with it, so I had to
remove it.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^UPDATE 8/20/00^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I have fixed Mission 19. JKPete was nice enough to show me what I had
been doing wrong, and now I have remade #19, "Sampson Strike", to work
with JKPFA Version 4.0. Enjoy! PS: Ignore all further references to
Mission 19 not being included. I'm to lazy to revise this whole file!

WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WARNING
IT STILL NEEDS JKPFA 4! TO GET IT, GO TO J.K. PETERSON'S WEB PAGE

WHY MISSION 19 ISN'T INCLUDED
Mission 19 is not included because when I wrote this campaign, I used
JKPFA Version 3 to build the missions. Mission 19 involved remotely
piloting a cruise missile. Alas, when I got Version 4, the cruise
missile had been removed! I might fix this later, if enough people
e-mail me telling me to.

BUGS
The only bug that I know about is that sometimes, during or after a
mission in which you fly a helicopter, FA will crash. I have no idea
how to fix it, so bear with me, people.

TIPS
.Use the weapons and aircraft mentioned in the briefing. If you do
otherwise, the mission will be WAY too easy.
.NO NUKES!
.JKPFA_3.lib really beefs up the SAM systems. If you see an SA-15,
STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM IT UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ALARM OR HARM!!!
.If I tell you to get a CM pod during the briefing, you're gonna need it.
.If your employer has hired a wingman for you, there's a reason!

As I said before, this is only the first half of the mission set. When
I complete the rest, I'll put them on the web. Until then, have fun!
Oh yeah, DID YOU REMEMBER TO DOWNLOAD JKPFA VERSION 4? IF SO, THE URL
IS ABOVE! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

LEGAL SH*T
This mission set is freeware, meaning you can put this set anywhere,
just as long as I am given full credit for it and the original files
are not edited in any way. JKPFA_3.lib is John K. Peterson's creation,
not mine, and I take no credit towards it, except that I used it
to create the missions in this pack. For John K. Peterson's legal stuff,
see readme.rtf. This mission set and its author is in no way affiliated
with Jane's Combat Simulations, Electronic Arts, Jane's Information Group,
Duosoft, or Sick Puppy Productions.
