So what's going with us? Right now we are in the preliminary stages of becoming a band. I'm the drummer, so you all know, and I'm starting to get the hang of the drums. We're trying to record with some shitty ass recording tools (A computer with a set of headphones in the mic jack). When we find the tape recorder, it's all gonna start rolling. We are trying to sound as punk as we can. Influences include but are definitely not limited to Rancid, Millencolin, AFI, Guttermouth, The Bouncing souls, and The Offspring. But who cares about that anyway. Right now I'm gonna talk about one of the songs. It's currently called Dabble Dabble, but I'm probubly going to change the name later, cuz that name is pretty gay. Here is the Chorus of the song: Nobody ever feels the way they should expression is like a plea for censorship its always meant for a greater good nobody exists because its all bullshit what to do when nothings going on life is always just dabbling on The line "expression is like a plea for censorship" is based on this book we had to read for class called Farenheit 451. It's about how the government censored books and most other forms of expression. It was interesting. The line "nobody exists because its all bullshit" is just saying that life is bullshit, cuz it is. The last two lines are referring to how I am always bored all the fucking time. some words from cooper, the vocals ALright,so Im Coop, the new vocals guy for Nutleg, never had a singin lesson in my life, but I got in here, so all the hard work payed off. We got a coulple song sgoing and they should be good so I guess that will be good. I like Sum41 alot, but there's also other stuff and what not. |
