Moomba

This was my first costume that I made from start to finish, the only store bought thing was the orange tank top that I used. I started working on it back in Feb. and ended up finishing it about a week before I left for Otakon. XD I made the skirt without a pattern and I really wish I went back and redid it. I also made the arm and ankle warmers as well as the lovely tail. I was going to make ears, but I had serious issues with them so I put my hair up in pigtails instead, I had temporary black hair dye I was going to put on the ends of the pigtails but I couldn't fit it into my bags when I was packed. And for the fur around the eyes I used red eyeliner and red eye shadow and I painted my nails and toenails black.

My favorite part of this costume was the tail, I felt like I was wearing the thing long after I had finished wearing the costume.

I must say it was very fun getting to walk around the con center and downtown Baltimore dressed as a Moomba, especially getting to wear the tail and walking around with no shoes on. =^_^=
I got quite a few compliments on this costumes but if I ever do wear it again I will prolly redo it because I think it's pretty ghetto looking. XD
