I'm Eddie from Only in October. My job is to tell you how i got into this mess in the first place. Well, unlike most bands we new each other way before the band started. I met Christian in like 5th grade, Zach in 7th, and Dane in 6th. Ever since then we have gotten to be really good friends. Well one day me and Dane decided to start a band. I had been writing many songs for a band i was in before so i said "sure...but what should we call it?" It took me and Dane about two hours to come up with our name Only in October. We play emotional hardcore with elements of punk and alternative because of my influences from bands and artists like ZAO, underOATH, poison the well, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, as i lay dying, converge, radiohead, the exoploited, dead kennadys, and Bjork. Another great influence for me came from the greatest emo band i've ever heard: further seems forever. Our band is currently working on an,as of yet untitled demo which will probebly be released in the fall of 2004 at the latest. I can't really say much because we have yet to make the music, so we'll keep you updated. I hope to see the wide world of Hardcore soon. Bye.
