The above picture shows the final switchbacks down the Kaibab Trail to the river. (There are three hikers in this photo.) To the right is the Kaibab Suspension Bridge. The lower photo shows the tunnel that you walk through to get to the bridge.

As I crossed the Kaibab Bridge a commercial river trip passed underneath me. Here you can see several boats heading downstream towards the Silver Bridge.
In the close-up you can see that this is an AzRA oarboat trip.

Views of the Bright Angel Creek. It took me just over four hours to hike down the South Kaibab Trail. I could have done it much faster but I took my time to take plenty of photographs. The photo to the left is looking upstream; Bright Angel Camprground is just past those trees and Phantom Ranch is just past the camprground. The lower photo is looking south. The South Rim is visible; I think that you can see Mather Point and Yavapai Point way up there. (I know that from Mather Point you can look down into Bright Angel Canyon.)
