The team took a road trip to Kelowna to play in the Rutland Softball Tournament over the weekend. We stayed in the Okanagan Seasons Resort in Kelowna, British Columbia where we took over both the indoor and outdoor pool. As for the tournament, we didn't do as well as hoped, losing all of our games. It was a fun weekend, that was wrapped up with a team dinner at the Boston Pizza. |

YEAR END WINDUP |

For our year-end windup party we took a boat, The Crown Royal, across to Bowen Island where we spent the day. On the island, we had lunch, did a bit of shopping, and then played a game against our parents. One of my team-mates and I had a plan to soak everyone after the game with water balloons. Unfortunately, our plan fell through when we dropped all of the filled water balloons on the dock. The rest of our team knew the plan, so we went to plan B and went after our parents. That plan then went wrong when a few of the parents found a hose beside the field and we were outmatched. |
