The first year I ever played soccer was in 1994 on the Burnaby Girls Soccer Club Under 11 Cheetahs. I played house league until the 1996-1997 season where i moved up 2 levels and played on the Under 13 Gold Panthers. That year we won silver medals in the Burnaby Girls Soccer Club Tournament, the Coastal Cup, and the Provincial Cup. For the Under 14 year I stayed at the Gold level and was a member of the BGSC Infiniti. That year we won Gold in the District Championships, the Coastal Cup and the Provincial Cup. The next year I played for the U-15 Rage, we won the Interdistrict Cup, earned a silver medal in the Coastal Cup and repeated as champions in the Districts and Provincials. The following year on the Under 16 Gold team we came up with a silver medal in the Interdistrict Cup. In the year 2002, playing the last year of youth league soccer the team, BGSC U-18 Gold Blast, won the gold medal in the District Cup. |
