TESTS, SCHEDULE AND ENTRY FEES

 Open All-Age  8:00 AM, Friday, September 12, 2003  $60.00
 Amateur All-Age   8:00 AM, Saturday, September 13, 2003 $60.00
 Qualifying  9:00 AM, Saturday, September 13, 2003  $60.00
    Or at the conclusion of the Derby
 Derby   9:00 AM, Friday, September 12, 2003  $55.00

Note: Closing Date – Tuesday, September 2, 2003 – 5:00 PM

Be sure your entry forms are completed in full and allow ample time for the mail to be delivered.
 Entries mailed Express, UPS, etc. should have signatures waived.  All signed entry forms must
be received before closing!! Please use a separate entry form for each stake that a dog may be entered in.
NO PHONE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
The draw is always open to the public.  If you wish to attend, call 413-467-2452.

If you send a card requesting a running order number, be sure to include the dog’s
Registered name and the stake in which it is entered.

TIGATHOE AMATEUR STAKE TROPHY
Donated by Pat Sadler in memory of Torch Flinn, a Perpetual Trophy for the winner of the Amateur at the Shoreline Retriever Club Fall Licensed Trial.  Trophy to remain in the possession of the Club, a memento will be presented to the winner.
 

REFUND POLICY

Notification of a scratch must be made to the Field Trial Secretary or the Marshal of your stake before the start of the stake in which the dog is entered.

Refunds for legitimate scratches will be made only upon written application and submission of appropriate veterinary certificate to the Field Trial Secretary within two weeks after the close of the test.

There will be a $ 5.00 fee to cover administrative expenses for all scratches for reasons other than a bitch withdrawn because of coming into season, or for a dog withdrawn because of an injury or illness, or for a dog who dies.

FOOD
There will be no food truck available.  There are shopping areas within a 2 –4 mile radius of the trial grounds.

TRAINING
The trial grounds are defined as follows:  Land and water on the east and west side of the main impoundment within the confines of Ravenelle, Reardon, and West Thompson Roads.

According to AKC rules for Retriever Trials, Chapter 14, Section 6, states in part that “No competing dog shall be trained on the field trial grounds as described from 24 hours prior to the start of the first stake, until the trial is concluded.”

CAMPING

There will be no camping allowed within the Barn area as in previous years.  Camping will be allowed at the West Thompson Camp Area which is near the boat launch on the Barn side.  For information  please call (860) 923-2982.  Please be sure to notify the authorities that you are going to be participating in the Shoreline Retriever Club Field Trial.
