Shoreline Retriever Club

President Peter Krisak called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Glastonbury.  Peter thanked Cathy Walton for bringing the refreshments.

The minutes from the October 21, 2001 meeting were approved as presented in the recent newsletter.

Treasurer’s Report:  Bill McCourt submitted a report to those in attendance and it was approved.

Second VP Report:  Joe Kuczynski thanked everyone for all of the help throughout the year in making the Sanctioned trials a success.

Sunshine Report:  Cathy Walton reported that a card had been sent to Paul Young whose mother had recently passed away.  A card and fruit basket was also sent to Joanne Mambrino on the recent loss of her mother.

New Member Applications:  Two new memberships, Paula and Richard Marshall & Orrin Jones were voted on and accepted as new members.

Licensed Field Trial:  Peter Krisak will chair the even for 2002.  Kathy Krisak will be the Field Trial Secretary.

Licensed Hunt Test: Bob Walton will chair the event.  He is currently looking for a secretary.  Bob has secured a few judges.

Annual Dinner:  Bob Walton gave a report on the restaurant choices for the Annual Dinner.  The Hawthorn Inn was chosen and the price range will be from $13 to $25.  It was decided to hold the dinner on a Sunday to attract more of the membership.  The date will be January 13, 2002.

Old Business: None

New Business: The training dates for Nod Brook will be 3/10, 3/17, & 3/24.  Sanctioned trials will be held at Nod Brook on 4/7 and West Thompson on 427 & 4/28.  A combination Training/Trial will be held at West Thompson July 20 & 21.  The fall Sanctioned trial date is 10/20 at Nod Brook.  The dates will be reviewed and published in the next newsletter.
The dues notice will be sent out in mid January and be due by February 15.  Memberships will be $15 for a single & $25 for a family membership.  Anyone who joins after the fall Licensed Field Trial will be credited with the next year’s membership.  With there being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
