| Mine was burnt out when I got my SHO. Every Taurus I've had I have had to replace the bulb so I am a pro at it. Yes the light is replaceable! But if you power antenna or fog lamp switch bulbs burn out your out of luck! You have to buy the whole new switch. Just go to a ford dealer they know what bulb you need. Just remove the two screws above the IP panel, remove the nut underneath the headlamp switch (pull the dial straight out.) You might want to replace the illumination bulb for the headlamp switch while you are at it. Then just gently pry with your hand, the black panel at the top to expose the rear of the clock. Then push the clock out from behind. I do not bother removing the clock by sticking a pin in the access hole in the front. I find this to marr the clock and scrapes the black finish on the trim panel. I decided to customize my SHO allittle..... This is what i did. I liked the look of the clocks in the 86-89 Taurus cause it had a dark green background with light green digits. The 90-91s had a light green background and black digits. Well i thought the 86-89 clock matched the digital disp on the EATC and radio better so i decided to replace it. Well the clock from the 86-89 taurus will not fit cause it is too wide. But a clock from the Taurus' cousin, the 86-89 Sables will. So i pulled one out of a junk yard and put a new bulb in it and voila. When the clock is not lit the background is black which matches the black on the IP. Just another one of my little customizations..... -Seth ______________________________________________________________ |____T____A____U____R____U____S________S____H____O___________| June 1991 SHO - Loaded, 120K, Mocha Frost/Mocha Leather Fiber Hood, Factory Rod Shift Linkage, OEM Spoiler (In Da Box).
