Are you sick and tired of the eject issues with your FORD CDplayer? If you
CD player does not like to eject the cd, load the cd, constantly clicks on
and off I've got the fix, or you hear a motor constantly running with no
display. This is the problem: If you take the CD unit out and take it
apart. You will notice a motor on the left side of the tray assembly (with
the face toward you and upright) mechanism where all those little gears are.
What happens is the gear on the motor shaft come loose and the gear spins
all around on the shaft causing the cd not to load or eject or seat the cd
properly. You can either superglue the sprocket back on the brass ring or
buy a new motor. The motor 's sony p/n is X-3320-593-1. You need to
soilder the the old wires from the old motor to the new. This fixed my Cd
and has been working great!
