I recently bought a factory CD Player for my SHO... Long story short, The buttons don't light up... makes it a pain to find 'em at night. After messing around for several days, I figured out that all 8 of the light bulbs in the front panel were burned out... Ford dealers have NO idea what you're talking about when you ask for the bulbs.So.. I looked into it on the web... What you need is a 12 Volt T-3/4 (About 2.5x5 mm) lamp, with short lead wires (No socket, or anything all that fancy) I found mine at a Hobby shop (OK, in the doll house section... don't EVEN start ;)Replacement was really simple, all things considered:

1.) Remove the CD Player from the dash.

2.) There's one phillips on each side (Top, Bottom, Right & Left) holding the front panel on.

3.) You'll find 4 teeny phillips head screws holding the top & bottom covers on it (In the back).

4.) Once you have all that loose, gently pry out on the sides of the front panel, and pop it loose.

5.) There's a black plastic sheet insulating the back side of the panel's circuit board, held on by even teenier phillips head screws... Take it off.

6.) Under the insulator, there are a bunch of blue, rubbery, plastic Light diffusers with the lamps stuffed inside of 'em.

7.) Using a LOW wattage soldering iron (Not yer Dad's Weller 1200 watt soldering gun) Unsolder & remove the bad bulbs (Ohm meters help here ;) and yank 'em out of the diffusers.

8.) Put the diffusers back in place, poke the bulbs inside of 'em, and solder the wires down where the old ones were
.9.) Reverse the above to reassemble.

Nobody probably needs this now, but when ya do... it'll be in the archives :)
