:: My webpage Endeavors

OK. So paano nagsimula ang ka-cornihan kong ito? XD It's a pretty long story I tell you, but if you think it's read-worthy, well then go on.

It was actually five years ago when I had my own webpage. It was hosted at Geocities, and it was really simple since I was just using the host's page builder. Then on my senior year in college, I signed up for a blog at Pitas, but it was inactive. I seldom make my posts there. Lakas ng loob no? XD

It was January 2002 when we had our PC at home. XD And it happened that I was doing a self-study on webpage building. May libro kasi ako nun na Using HTML. There, I tested what I have learned thru my Pitas blog, and I began studying MS Frontpage as well. ^_~ Some of them saw it and they were glad I have my own online journal. ^_~

I moved to Brinkster after staying about three months at Pitas. This was the time I maxed up my knowledge in HTML. After having several themes in my blog, I finally decided to name it Damsel Not In Distress. I still have that theme until now. ^_~ As of today, my blog located here.

Now, why Damsel Not In Distress? You see, I have this thinking about myself being a young lady who has a courageous spirit and show the whole world that I can overcome anything I might encounter in real life. Ergo, that's my theme. Well, medyo. As in very stressful. Dapat siguro magpalit na ako ng theme no? XD Nah. I'll most likely keep this title for as long as I live. Kahit ako'y tumanda na at magka-apo. ^_~

By October 2002, I started to build up my personal website, finally. Why finally? Because I supposed to have one last year. I caught a glimpse of the layout and the concept. (It was a starry look) The site was never launched. But now since I can create webpages myself, I decided to revive its construction. And voila! Eto na nga yun. ^_^

I got this site's title from an online convo with a guy friend. He was asking me a few questions regarding my then-boyfriend and I told him my story. So my friend concluded that the beginning of my relationship with my ex was simply out of nowhere, and I had to agree. But other than that, what he said gave me the idea of having that for my title. Now why i picked that line? It's simple. Because the site came from nowehere. XD
