Again, my name is Edge. But online, I'm more known as Alliele, a character from the anime El Hazard. 25 years old. A pure Filipina. Born at the Perpetual Succor Hospital Manila, on the 25th of January, year of the rooster. I'm an Aquarius girl. I've been living in the Philippines for all my life, although I have been out of the country for quite some time. My features include long black hair, brown eyes, and a not-too-good frame (I won't elaborate that). My marital status is too complicated (and don't ask why). I am a Christian and proud of it. I have finished College with a degree of AB Mass Communication, and now a young professional working in a multi-national company.

>.. Who is Edge?

Like some parents do to their first born children, my real first name, which is Eddelyn, is a combination of my parents' names. But ever since, most people who knew me since birth are fond of calling me Egie (pronounced as Eh-ji or Ih-ji). I'm not sure how they came out with that. My nickname Edge started when I was in my junior year in high school. People still call me by that name until now, and I love it.

By the way, just don't call me Grace, unless you're one of the clients I have talked to before. Other than that, it's a big no-no for me. And most of all, don't call me Egg-y. It really pisses me off when someone calls me like that.

Although I can be seen with a smiling face more often, I sure know when to sit down and get serious. In fact, I get mad when someone abruptly cracks jokes in the middle of a serious talk. I am moody at times. So when someone pisses me off especially when I'm not in the right mood, I can be tactless. But in general, I can be very nice to people as long as you treat me nicely too. Just don't try abuse my kindness.

In terms of personality, I am an introvert, a watcher, a pessimist.

Just like my nickname Edge, I can be cool. I'm not totally girlish or boyish, but most likely a balance of both. I do like girly things like make-up, clothes, accessories, mushy music, and boys! But I also go for some boyish stuff like computers and gadgets, alternative music and animé, where I am much influenced. To be specific, my interests include journalism, writing, photography, anime, Japanese Sentai, music, gadgets, the Internet, Harry Potter. When I have my free time, I do various activities like reading, writing, web designing, browsing online, soundtripping, singing, TV marathon, or photgraphy. Check out my favorite things here. So what if my figure is not the type that makes heads turn? I still know how to dress right, and the accessories will just do the trick. But most of the time, I dress casually even when I'm in the office, where dress codes are not applicable. At home, I'm already comfortable with a shirt and pair of shorts. And the rest, like going to church or parties or gimmicks, I dress according to what kind of occasion I'll be attending. Of course, accessories must be included. I remember when I was in high school, I was fond of collecting rings. Now I collect lots of earrings. So I've been mistaken for being vain. But I'm not that vain most of the time. It's the comfort that counts.

For the past three years, my yuppie life was all ups and downs. I used to classify myself as a mediocre worker. My performance was assessed as not too excellent, but not too bad either. Until at some point I realized that I should move up and find my career growth, whether in my current job or somewhere else. Right now I can't say that I'm just a step away but I'm really working on it. So I'm just hanging there. Take a glimpse of my professional side here.

Single AND available: This is me today, but don't get me wrong. I had relationships with other guys before, but none of those were successful (and I won't name names here, sorry). Maybe that's because I'm too idealistic and perfectionist about relationships. Yes, I am a hopeless romantic. Initially, a guy with a killer smile will definitely make my head turn. It's a plus if he's got a well-built frame and lovely eyes. Common interests do matter to me, but I'm always open to try anything new. If the person happens to have skills, if not talent in music, I'd be very happy. Inner qualities wise, it's basically similar with what most girls prefer. The trust, honesty, sincerity and all that stuff. And most of all, this guy has to be God-fearing and a Christian at heart, like me.

I can be very sweet to a guy. I have an attitude of willingness to spend a lot of money or exert much effort just to please the guy I love. I'm submissive, but I take precautions. I know my limitations in relationships.

>.. Friendship

Proverbs 17:17 says: "A friend loves at all times". This is my theme verse in terms of friendship. I treasure my friends just like how I value the life that I have and the family who are always supportive to me. But this doesn't mean that I support them even if they do something wrong. I'm not the kunsintidora type of friend. I strongly discourage them do anything that may lead them to commit the same mistake. Why? Because when a friend does something wrong, at some point it may affect the way people look at him/her. I would really feel bad if a friend of mine is in time of need and I didn't do anything. And when there are gatherings (a.k.a gimmicks), of course I have to be presnt so I won't miss the fun.

To be honest, I have so many circle of friends. I have my barkada in high school and college. I have a few neighbors who are close to me. Some of the Youth group in our church have been my friends ever since the church opened. And when I was into online chatting, I had my own tropa there as well. In fact most of them became my friends in real life. I guess I'm so blessed with having these people in my life.

From the very start, God has a plan or purpose for me. He gave me the opportunity to exist in this world and blessed me with a great family and wonderful friends. But it doesn't end there. At some point in my life, I fully understood why am I existing. He has given me skills and talents, and He wanted me to use them not just for good, but to please Him more. Despite a very hectic yuppie life and lots of responsibilities, I make sure I thank the Lord for everything He bestowed on me. Right now, I sing in a church choir, a soprano to be exact.
