1) Muggle: non magic people
2) Unforgiveable Curses: The Imperious Curse (this makes you have totatl control of your opponet... Cruciatus Curse (this put your oppenent in complete torture) and Avada Kedavra (this is the killing Curse) These Curses ARE NOT allowed to be used no matter what. You would go to Azkaban, or possibly get exectued.
3) Animagus: A wizard that can turn into an animal (Like Prof. McGonagall can turn into a cat)
4) Howler: Something sent thru mail from parents that screams at you in their voice when you are in trouble... embarrasing
5) O.W.L.: Ordinary Wizarding Levels (a test you must take in your 5th year)
6) Mudblood: A derogatory name for someone of a non-magical blood line (Hermione's parents are both muggles, so Draco makes fun of this and calls her a mudblood, which makes her cry)
7) Auror: A dark wizard catcher (Moody used to be an auror)
8) Azkaban: The wizard prison(jail)
9) Boggart: It can change its form into whatever it thinks will scare whoever is near by. It likes the dark. No one really knows its true form. (Hermiones Boggart was Prof, McGonagal saying that she failed a test)
10) Death Eaters: Group of witches/wizards who follow Lord Voldemort
11) Dementor: They guard Azkaban.. They feed off the prisoner's soul.. people get cold, and they make you weaker... finally most people in Azkban go insane.
12) Foe-Glass: A mirror that shows your enemies... Moody has one in book 4.
13) Pensieve: Holds your thoughts.. Dumbledore has one.
14) Portkey: An object that is hexed that when you touch it, it takes you to another place.
