Columbia presents Vertical Limit, directed by Martin Cambell and written by Robert King and Terry Hayes; rated PG-13 for life-death situations and strong language. This movie was a interesting as well as a good movie to watch, for those who enjoy watching thrillers. Though the movie has is its bad aspects, which are only minor: one the movies beginning was not too captivating, and two the movie was somewhat long. It is in movie theaters through New York, I watched it in Crossbay 2 though.
Vertical Limit, is a action-packed story about a young climber (Chris ODonnel who stars as Peter Garrett) who must save his sister (Robin Tunney who stars as Annie) and her summit team by launching nitroglycerin in K-2, the worlds second highest peak.
This film seemed to be a better Cliff Hanger. It was similar to that movie maybe because it took place in the mountains. The movie was full of action; it kept you on the edge of your seats. After the first few minutes, which was the most boring part of the movie. The movie became more and more interesting. More actors started to come in more explosives started to go off and more people started to die.
The movie contained some special effects, but dont expect it to be as much as a movie like The Matrix. People in the age group 17-25 can watch and should watch Vertical Limit, I recommend this film to those who like to get a feeling of thrill, because that is what it gives you throughout the movie.
