| I Have a Dream To have a dream is to keep hope alive. A dream is so essential it is the very essence of living. To live without a hope is an existence. " I have a DREAM..."thes are the world famous words of Martin Luther King (jnr). The man who taught the world the art of non violent protest. He dared to dream dream that many thought was inconceivable in his days. Luther's dream is unfolding in our own time. You could kill a man but not a dream. A dream lives on no matter what as long as there are those who would uphold it in earnest expectation. People of the world say- " when there is, life there is hope" but i think the other should be reversed. It is when there is hope that there can be life.Imagine a life f no expecation. Fred Bauer, in his book, Daily Living:Daily Giving, said " the most profane word i know is hopelessness". In the scriptures, Prov. 23: 18 , it talks about an expectation of the righteius that shall not be cut off. The question then is what if the righteous has no expectation? Call it what you wish, a wish, an ambition, a dream, a desire, a hope ,an expectation, a prayer, as long as it fires you to live to see it then "you got it going on" Dear Friend join me in saying those words of Luther again- I HAVE A DREAM. |
