What kind of God is this?

1
All praise to the Father: Forever He has control!
This great is His power: that all that is, He made to be.
He spoke, and it was.
His word is alive,
A light sparking life to once-dead souls.
Give loud noise of praises for His mighty acts, eternally.

2
His Son, one time sacrificed, ascended from death to life.
He now works such power on hateful souls, rotting dead in vice.
He thus makes His people,
Crafts them together,
Forming a pure and spotless wife
to love Him forever. What workmanship! What sacrifice!

3
His Spirit, within us, gives knowledge of God and good.
A holy companion, He guides by still voice and by the rod.
To grow His fruit, He
fills us with life's juices.
Broken from Him, we're dead, dry wood.
He's making us ready: acceptable, holy unto God.

4
What kind of God is this, whom Life itself obeys?
This One is amazing -- far past all that ever could be known!
Transcendent in power,
Above us by nature, yet
He gives us life to work His ways.
Not "a god", but my God! In awe I embrace Him as my own.
