When you first get your jewelry it will be stiff and probably a little scratchy. You can take shampoo and conditioner and give it a bath if it is a sturdy pattern of knots, such as the square knot or the spiraled knots (see figure 1a and 1b below). Rinse and dry thoroughly.
2. Most of the latches on my jewelry has a slide loop clasp. It allows you to take it off and on (only when dry).
To put on: Take the closed clasp (see figure 2a below) between your thumb and forefinger and slide it down. Then take the, now open, clasp (see figure 2b below) and slide it on to the other end (see figure 2c below) and adjust to where it fits. Next, slide the clasp back up to a closed position.
