ANCHORAGE BUCS

Like the Yankees and the Giants used to share the Polo Grounds, the Bucs and the Glacier Pilots share Mulcahy Stadium. When playing home games, the two teams use opposite dugouts so that when the Bucs are home, the visitors use the Pilots dugout and when the Pilots are home, the visitors use the Bucs dugout. Obviously there's no complication when the two teams play each other, and these games tend to be bigger draws as they attract fans of both teams.

These photos are from Saturday, 6/23/01, 7:00 p.m. game when the Bucs hosted the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. All of my original photos on this page are approximately one-quarter size. Netscape users can right-click and view-image to see the full-size images.
