ShoeHorn the Beast
A Brief History

A brief something about ShoeHorn and my other, alternate, identities - and also where I've been, and what I've seen.

ShoeHorn's search for a new home has been long and treacherous, but after many long years he has finally come to a quiet little corner of a new universe called the internet. Through hard work and much patience, he has built a new, wonderous little home out of nothing more than memories and scraps of images moving about in his head. Thus, a 'page' had been created, and it was placed upon what is known to many other explorers in this new land as a web. Looking around, his eyes carefully watch these many interconnecting strands strewn about this new universe, watching, and waiting, for a familiar face to tread across that one small thread leading to my plot, my home, in the middle of what can only be described as "nowhere".

ShoeHorn The Beast
Originated in the quiet rural neighborhood of CompuServe CB Chat <grin>. This character has become me, and turned out to be the best name I could choose - it fits me so well (rolls eyes as I type this).

B.O.M. (Bartender-O-Matic)
The many versions of this creation deserves a mention, I suppose, though I think I actually roleplayed under BOM (model 2000) only one time (normally his actions were translated through ShoeHorn). Shoey used to assemble these in the backroom in the tavern with spare parts he had QQ. Anyhoo, after the first hundred catastrophes (or, models ;p), the self-destruct button was removed. <grin> Alas, BOM 2000 winded up having an explosive personality, rather than actually exploding as the previous models did. After hanging around to serve a few drinks now and again, the goofball machine went off to "do it's own thing". Once in a while it will show up, though - usually for nothing more than to physically abuse it's creator. The creator has since looked into other hobbies…

Selfless (and his faithful dog Shadow)
A respectable man (and bartender). Never gets angry, never curses, never fights (unless protecting an innocent one). Cousin of ShoeHorn the Beast, and sometimes quite the opposite of him ;p. This character originated in Yserbius. His dog Shadow has also been loyal and obedient, and used to serve drinks by means of a dog-tray that was mounted on his back. He never complained, and was quite happy where he was, and with the people he met. =) I think Selfless's character may warrant his own web page (or at least, section). I will consult myself on this idea. Note - Shadow was played as a separate character by Keera but a few times - the rest of the time, his actions were translated through Selfless.

The Shrink
That self-proclaimed psychologist that practiced rather unorthodox methods of patient care. <grin> Not many liked this character, perhaps because they didn't understand it was all in good fun.

HornyShoe
When "The Beast" in ShoeHorn's name actually meant something, this character was it. A while ago, when anger would fill Shoey's mind, a change in features would occur, and he would turn into 'The Beast'. After much work with Kearna (the beauty as she was then known), the demon was expelled from his body - and the impersonation of which became HornyShoe. Finally, this evil one was sent to the depths of hell to carry out an eternal, fiery death.

Some folk used to call me "HornyShoe", is why I chose such a wacky name for that persona. This was the one bit of roleplaying I did that actually led somewhere. It was fun, Kearna! =)

Sneakers
This crazy goofball character suddenly appeared one day, claiming to be the lost son of ShoeHorn. Unfortunately this soap opera was never concluded <g>. ShoeHorn claims to this day he never had a son. ;p

Yohan the Shpat
Okay, so this is one of my lesser-known characters. Hehe, I think this one only existed during my CompuServe CB Chat days. It was when I was trying to decide which 'handle' to go by at the time that would make me, well, different. LOL. Luckily, I went with ShoeHorn the Beast, and my nationality has never been questioned thus far ;p

Rum-n-Cuckoo
Even less known than Yohan, this character was one of my most fun bartender types <g>.  His methods of serving drinks usually entailed catapulting them to the recipient through various machines (with protective tops, of course - to help stop spillage and the occassional lawsuit). Used bow-and-arrow devices, a six-chamber-beverage-launcher device (which also doubled as a rocket launcher ;p), and sometimes the typical bat-ball-and-a-glove trick.
