Healthy Foods? Or Not???
Its so obvious that food advertisements are important because if tells the audience what to think of their foods or products. Some food product ads may not be necessarily good, even though it says it is. They may also not be healthy. An example is Burger King. They say that their whoppers are good, but are they healthy? Some ads may not be the best to trust. They could use many different strategies and techniques they could use to trick us into buying their products. A technique is using scale to make their products look bigger or smaller than usual. A strategy is heart-strings. Its when a family is bored or boring. Then they went to this place and became real happy. Do things ads say be true or false? Are they missing some information about their products?

Some advertisements trick people real easily buy using their different techniques and strategies. Some advertisements put fake things and make it real. An example is different cheeseburger commercials. They use a cheeseburger toy and use food coloring to make it look delicious. It may look very neat, but when you actually get it, its messy and greasy. That is what most ads do. Some may be telling the truth, but most of them lie. Consumers have the right to know what they are buying. They should tell you all the facts of the food. I know you could earn more money by telling a lie, but what if its very unhealthy to your body. Advertisers brainwash and deceive you. They use the strategies and techniques to do this. An example is Gatorade. They use testimonial to brainwash you to think that superstars do this stuff and I have to do this to. A strategy is star power. They use superstars in their commercials, so other people would think that this is my favorite superstar is this and hes doing it and why shouldnt I?

Something advertisers dont say is if its healthy for your body or not. Most of the commercials on food are junk foods and they arent good for your body. They give you all this fat and bad health. It could make your body do all sorts of crazy things if you keep eating junk food. Advertisers make advertisements out of junk food because most junk foods tastes real good and the viewers might want to get a pack of it or something like that. Some foods are healthy and are good for you. Those advertisements are ads you can trust because they tell you all the facts of why it is healthy for you or your body.

If you still dont believe us, then go out on the streets or watch TV. You would see all these fake information about the product they want to sell. Next time you go shopping for food, look at the nutrition facts carefully. It would tell you why its bad and why its good for you. Ads are real tricky nowadays. They put the facts but the font is real small in white, so you cant really see them, so they couldnt get sewed. Next time you are watching a TV commercial or an ad, look carefully in it and think to yourself if they are telling the truth or a lie. Advertisers only have 1 goal. That goal is to make you buy the product, so they could earn a lot of money. If you are not careful, you might be the next victim to be tricked!
