| The Dust Bowl was an epic event that caused many people to migrate into California and they suffered the same fate. There were people who made this things better. An example is Woody Guthrie. He made up songs and lyrics about the Dust Bowl. He made the people feel better by singing songs about the Dust Bowl. Another person who made this better was Dorothea Lange. She took pictures of the poor and homeless Okies in California and showed it to the government. Then the government started building camps to help the Okies from how they were treated. These two people made a big difference during the Dust Bowl and made the people's lives much better. |
