The Legend of Roosterism
Once a long long time ago there was a man named Joey who was a salesman that traveled a lot. He was on a trip to Nubia when he became lost in the desert. he got down on his knees and prayed to god for a way out of this desert but no reply came. He then continued walking hoping that he'd find a way out, but didn't. He was going to give up when he saw a golden rooster walking across the sand. Confused, Joey asked the rooster, "How do you stay alive in this desert," the rooster replied, "I am no ordinary rooster I am the all powerful rooster who is the only one who knows the way out of this desert." "Can you get me out of this desert?" asked Joey, "Of course I can," replied the rooster. So the rooster led Joey out of the desert.
This tale was passed down from generation to generation in my family and when I heard of this I thought that roosters should be praised and not eaten. people must know how important they are because on every barn in America there is a weather vane in the shape of a rooster.
