Crafts
»Easy Hearts
You will need red, white, or pink construction paper. Pencil crayons or markers. Scissors & glue.
Fold a small piece of paper in half. Place childs thumb near fold and trace around it. Cut on the line and unfold paper to see your heart. Make many small hearts. To make a card choose a different color of paper and fold it in half. Glue hearts onto paper in any pattern you like.
»Valentine Animals
Cut out many different sized hearts. Glue them together in different ways to make funny and cute valentine animals.
»Valentine Flowers
Cut out many hearts of equal size. Glue them on background paper in different ways to make flower blossoms. Draw stems and heart shaped leaves.Activities
»For meal times adding festive cups, napkins, plates or table cloths can be fun. Serve heart shaped sandwiches and red foods.
»Play Musical Hearts
Place hearts all around the room and play music for the children to dance and move around the room to. When the music stops, the children sit down on a heart.Circle Time
