Crafts»Make bunny ears and tail. Take cardboard and cut in thick strips for headband and cut ear shapes .Staple ear shapes to card board and cover staples with construction paper glued on by children. Take a piece of round cardboard and let kids glue cotton on it and pin it to kids clothes.
»Wash egg shells thoroughly and let dry. Dye with food coloring. Have the children use them for a collage or to decorate an egg shape.
»Use cotton balls to cover a bunny shape for a soft Easter Bunny picture.Activities »Your local library may have the classic version of the Bunny Hop and the children can "hop" to the music.
»Help kids cut a pear in half for bunnies body and place on lettuce slice. Use slices of apples for ears. Help kids use whipped cream as glue to attach ears. Cream cheese for raisins for eyes and nose. Kids can make tail from cream cheese too. Cut some narrow carrots and place in front of bunny.
»Easter bunny cake: Take 2 round cake pans and bake a cake mix. Leave one circle whole and cut the other leaving a bow and 2 ears. Frost and decorate. White box fluffy frosting works best. If you like a pink bunny use food coloring. If you and children like coconut cover bunny with it to make him furry. Black jelly bean for nose, pastel m & m’s, or jelly beans for inside of ears and bow tie. Red shoelace licorice for whiskers and a small piece for bunny's mouth.Circle Time "Did You Ever See a Bunny"
