Welcome to the [[[ C�֣W�Vɧ ��r�pt V� 1.0� ]]] Help file - Setting your Nicknames - When you have registered nicknames under NickOPs database, it is annoying to have to identify each nick by msg'ing NickOP everytime you are connected to the Austnet server or after a netsplit occurs. This function was put inplace to 1. Auto Identify , 2. Auto Kill Users who change to one of your registered nicks and 3. Generally make Nick changing easier. To set your Nicks, you must right click with the mouse within a channel. Within the menu there is one selection called 'Nicknames' go into this and set as many Nicknames as you have registered. Once this is done, you may change nicks with 1 click by going to the same menu and clicking on 1 of the 4 nicks available. - Functions: SnOb Mode -This is a function that will prevent you from being queried when it is active there are 2 modes to SnOb Mode. 1. SnOb[On] with ShowMsg[On] - This allows you to see what would have been said in a query, but without opening a query window. but rather sending the msg's to the @SnOb-Bounce window. 2. SnOb[On] without ShowMsg[Off] - This will prevent you from seeing any text said in an attempted query whilst user SnOb is active. Allso with the SnOb mode.. you may add a user to a list, that are able to query you and open a window, even when the SnOb Mode is active. - Alias Definitions - This function was put in place so you can switch on or off the ability to extend abbreviations such as 'lol' -> 'Laughs Out Loud'. there are a number of extensions that you can use. ie. brb -> Be Right Back , bak -> Back At Keyboard , lmao -> Laughing My Arse Off ect.. - Hide Commands - This function is used in conjunction with ChanOP. Normally within a channel u use the ` prefix to access ChanOP such as `op , `deop , `voice , `devoice , `kick , `ban , ect.. What this functin does is, it hides the Commands that you and the other users usually see and msg's ChanOP instead. so no other users may see what you are upto. - Nick Echo - This function is usefull when you are on more than 1 channel. ie. if your active channel is #chan1 and you are allso on #chan2, you will receive an echo in #chan1 when your current nickname is mentioned mentioned in #chan2 like this.. --- C�֣W�Vɧ said your name in #chan2 --- - Nick Completer - This is a novelty more than anything. If the first thing you type in a line is a nickname, it will be morphed too make it look like this.. ��COOLWAVES�� Hello - Msg Coder -This is another novelty which allows you to encode a msg that will go into a channel and which other users who are using C�֣W�Vɧ to decode the msg. Coding a msg is simple, select the MsgCoder option in the channel Menu and then enter the text to be translated to code, into the entry box. If another user using C�֣W�Vɧ enters a code into the channel, you will receive this coded msg in its uncoded format. so there is no need to uncode it, allthough there is a menu item for uncoding coded msg's |
